CUET Exam Centers 2027

NTA is going to conduct CUET 2027 as a Computer Based Test (CBT) across hundreds of cities spanning all states and union territories of India. During the CUET 2027 registration process, candidates will be able to select up to 4 city preferences in order of priority from the official NTA portal. NTA will then allot one city from among the chosen preferences to each candidate based on seat availability. Note: Although candidates fill their preference of CUET exam city while filling the application form, NTA, however, reserves the final right to allocate test centers to candidates. In case of any unforeseen events such as lack of accommodation facilities at a particular center, any technical glitches, etc. the exam conducting authority reserves the right to add or delete any center for CUET 2027.

CUET Exam Centers 2027: International Centers

Apart from cities within India, NTA also conducts CUET UG at select international locations to allow Indian students residing abroad to appear for the exam without travelling to India. In CUET 2026, the exam was conducted in over 15 countries, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Kuwait, Malaysia, Nepal, Nigeria, Oman, Qatar, and the USA.

CUET 2027 Exam Center Change: Is It Allowed?

Candidates should choose their preferred cities carefully during the application process - cities closer to home reduce travel risk on exam day.

In CUET 2026, NTA opened a re-allocation window after the initial center allotment, with candidates able to choose from open slots in alternate cities on a first-come, first-served basis. Of the 16,681 candidates who applied through that window, 92% were successfully allotted their chosen alternative center, and revised admit cards were issued to them. Whether a similar window will be offered for CUET 2027 will depend on the overall allotment outcome.

How to check CUET Exam Center 2027 Allotted?

After a candidate has successfully submitted the CUET 2027 application form, NTA will allot an exam center from among the candidate’s chosen city preferences. NTA first releases a City Intimation Slip that confirms the allotted city. The full center details - venue name, complete address, reporting time, exam date, and shift - are available on the CUET Admit Card 2027.

CUET 2027 Exam Day Instructions

2. Reach the exam center at least 2 hours before the scheduled start of the examination. The entry gate to the exam hall closes 30 minutes before the exam begins.
3. If possible, visit the exam center one day in advance to become familiar with the route and exact location.
4. Sit only at the seat designated on the seating chart inside the exam hall. Do not occupy any other seat.
5. All CUET exam centers are under CCTV surveillance throughout the examination duration.
6. Candidates found carrying prohibited items - including mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, digital calculators, pagers, or any written material - will be debarred from the examination.
7. Do not communicate with other candidates or exchange any material inside the exam hall.
8. If the computer system at your workstation malfunctions, immediately inform the invigilator on duty. Do not attempt to fix the issue yourself.
9. Rough work must be done only on the paper provided at the exam hall and must be handed over to the invigilator before leaving the hall.
10. Do not leave the exam hall until the session is complete and the invigilator gives permission to leave.
