CUET 2024 General Test Syllabus is based on topics such as General Knowledge, Current Affairs, General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Quantitative Reasoning, and Logical & Analytical Reasoning.
CUET exam pattern for General Test is slightly different from other tests. The exam has 60 multiple choice questions out of which 50 questions need to be answered in 60 minutes. As for the marking scheme, five marks will be awarded for each correct answer and one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. No marks will be given to the unanswered questions.
General Test mode of examination will be Hybrid (Computer-Based Test / Pen-Paper Mode). Simple application of mathematical concepts, arithmetic, algebra geometry, mensuration and statistics are important topics for Quantitative sections.
The exam paper code for the General Test is 501. Quantitative ability can be difficult this year since there is no mention of question level till class 8th in the official syllabus pdf on the website. No other changes have been made in the General Test syllabus.

CUET General Test Paper Analysis & Previous Year Question Paper
CUET General Test paper is generally easy to moderate level. Last year paper analysis shows that Mathematical and General Knowledge questions had the highest weightage. The question paper was not very time consuming. History, Geography, Economics had 2-4 questions each.
