FAQs
Ques. Where is the official CUET (UG) result link? It says “activating soon.” When will it actually open?
Ans. The official link for the result will be generated on NTA CUET’s official website cuet.nta.nic.in and no place else. It says “activating soon” because the results have not been generated yet. The results will be announced on the day which NTA has set official.
Ques. Does NTA normalise marks for every subject or specific subjects?
Ans. The NTA normalises marks for every subject because it schedules tests in different sessions. So to normalise any discrepancy which happened in any session, normalisation is done.
Ques. Does normalization lead to decreasing the marks and as a result decrease in the percentile range?
Ans. Yes, normalization can lead to decrease marks and then decrease in the percentile range but it does not happen always. Sometimes students also report that their marks increased in the final marksheet as compared to what they calculated.
Ques. I calculated using provisional answer key but the final result is different. How come?
Ans. There have been instances where the answers in the provisional answer key were different than final answer key. If your marks are lower than 700 then it will be hard for you get admission in premier institutions and that too in popular courses. Wait for the final result and then make up your mind.
