NTA has dropped 7 questions from GAT, Physics, Hindi, Sociology, and Mathematics before releasing the CUET Final answer key. This means that candidates who have attempted the dropped questions will be awarded +5 marks.

• Candidates can download their CUET 2026 scorecard at cuet.nta.nic.in using their application number and password once declared.
• The final answer key decides your official score. You will not be able to challenge the final answer key.
• As per the final answer key released by NTA, 44 questions have more than one answer.
• This means that if a candidate has selected either of the two options, they will be rewarded 5 marks for that particular question. 
• CUET UG uses a marking scheme of +5 marks for each correct answer and -1 for each wrong answer, with no penalty for unattempted questions.

How to Raise Objection Against CUET Answer Key 2026

If you think an answer is wrong in the provisional answer key, you can challenge it during the objection window by paying a fee of Rs. 200/-.

CUET Answer Key Challenge Fee 2026

You must pay a fixed fee for every question you challenge. The fee is the same for all students.

• The ₹200 fee is a processing charge and is not refunded, even if your objection is found correct.
• Only paid challenges submitted through the official link within the deadline are reviewed. Challenges sent by email or any other mode are not considered.

How to Calculate Score Using CUET Answer Key 2026

You can estimate your CUET UG 2026 score by matching your responses with the answer key. Candidates can use the official marking scheme provided below to calculate their CUET UG scores:

• Correct answer: +5 marks
• Wrong answer: -1 mark
• Unattempted question: 0 marks
• If a question is dropped or has multiple correct options: +5 marks to all who attempted it

Each subject has 50 questions for a total of 250 marks.

Example: Suppose you attempt 48 questions in one subject. You get 40 correct and 8 wrong.

• Marks for correct: 40 × 5 = 200
• Marks lost for wrong: 8 × 1 = 8
• Subject score: 200 - 8 = 192 out of 250

Add up your subject scores to get your total. Remember, your final percentile depends on normalisation across shifts, not just raw marks.
