Exams timing is 3 hours for all the subjects.
There are mock exams before the final exams.
Final exams are held just after the mock exams.
I have my practical exams and theory exams in both mock and final examinations.
Teachers will help you with the examination, they will teach you every single point regarding the subject syllabus and they will try to cure every doubt of yours. If you really work hard you will get the best results and if you work moderately then you will get a really good result if you neither work hard or moderate then definitely, you will get accordingly.
There are campus placements.
I don't know much about them as I just passed the second year now. But many companies visit Delhi University and one of my friends got placed in ICICI Bank recently. You can do internships also.
The faculty members are good and the course curriculum was excellent in Daulat ram.
Because teachers were very supportive and always provided us with extra materials and also take extra tuts so that students can have a better learning experience.
Generally, there are at least 3 sections in each department and there are around 40 students in each class. Also, the classrooms are big so there is no problem with the infrastructure.
Most of the faculty members are phd degree holders and teachers always take mid-term exams and other presentations and group discussions to strengthen the student's knowledge. For 1 semester we have semester exams and mid-term exams. And teachers are interested in taking the extra tests and presentations. It is easy to pass mid-term exams because the syllabus is usually not too much. But semester exams cover the whole syllabus so unless you study better it is not possible to get good grades.
Quarterly job and placement fairs are organised in the college/ campus in order to provide students opportunities for applying to various multinational organisations for building their careers or internship basis.
The course curriculum is quite good. Exams take place once a semester. There are 2 semesters in a year. Students are also good. There are approximately 70-80 students in a course and there are approximately 2-3 sections for Every course.
Around 80-90 percent of the students get placements. Several countries do visit the college for the same. As far as I know, in the third year of college which is the final year, the students get eligible for placements. The average package offered is about 5-6 Lakhs per annum.
For masters, Classes occur in the Faculty of Social Sciences so all the students from the different colleges have to gather at one place to take the classes. Classes for North campus colleges happy in Arts faculty north campus and for the South campus happen in Arts faculty South campus.
The course is quite fun and there is a lot of interesting information you can learn.
There's no shortage of teachers in our college as we got at least 2 teachers per subject and different teachers for theory and practicals.
Some teachers really put effort into teaching but some just come with a PowerPoint presentation and play and ask us to note it down.
Exams were on a proper schedule and they were moderate if you've studied well.
The college placement cell provides internships from the very first year. But didn't get much student attention because most are unpaid and require a lot of skills that all students might not possess. Deloitte, Wipro and EY are some major names who pick students from here. An average of 60 students are able to get a really good package per year. I like to switch my study line and if I am able to make a good deal for myself in jobs n I would also like to go for that.
As I was a student of science background found it more fruitful to choose zoology hons rather than other subjects on an interest basis and conceptual understanding since my childhood teacher are so nice and all are PhD scholar having extreme knowledge about their respective subject to clarify it
There was 2 semester in one year so a total of 6 and the level of the exam is easy to moderate approx 90% question paper based on the previous year's paper.
