Reality of Daulat Ram College

Likes

College playground is very nice and nice and there is construction Going on to make it more beautiful.
Teacher Teaching is good. Class happen on Regular basis.

Dislikes

Teacher absent without informing us earlier. They don't give us proper marks. College Canteen food is also bad not worth it.
Old classroom is very bad and small. It is feel like conjugate without any Ac facilitaties abd fan ids also not working properly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is same for every college in Delhi University. Course curriculum is good it help us to increase our knowledge it is planned according to New Education Policy. It is not easy and not too tough. B.Com hons is famous in Delhi University and DRC ranked 13.

Pros and cons of DRC

Likes

The top recruiting companies are Deloitte ,Capgemini Byjus .
The placement cell is also very active provides great opportunities to the students
The faculty members are very cooperative and helpful to students.there is Nescafe and canteen which provides food at reasonable price and delicious

Dislikes

Infrastructure is the worst in this college expect hostel.even fans in the classroom didn't work properly
There is no proper hygiene and sanitation in washroom areas.And campus areas. No clean water
The societies of college is not very active.They don't provide opportunities to freshers

I take Bsc Hons Botany because Iam very interested in plants and research area .This college provide us better education in terms of science.This course is very much effective for research purposes.It provides great opportunities to students for their further studies

THE REAL REVIEW

Likes

The thing which I really like is that drc is academically very strong and they focus properly on studies and everything related to academic
I really like the people of drc and they are very welcoming very friendly and they areh very warm like max people are very nice

Dislikes

The thing which I disliked is that they focus onlyyy on academics and they should also focus on extra curricular activities
The societies are not as active as compared to other colleges and many societies are also not there in this college like enactus
The old infrastructure of drc is very bad the new is great the acs are great but the old is really bad

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is okayish like it's not in too big companies it's in small companies only nd we have a placement cell I'm not sure of the companies they got but they weren't really good they were okayish like not known companies 10-20 student's got placed according to me After this degree I'm planning for some process course

University of Delhi - Daulat Ram College review.

Likes

I really like my college for the fact that it is a girl's college. Plus the faculty is really helpful and supportive.
The workers, uncle and aunties are really nice. The guard aunty and bhaiya are really cool and nice.
The garden area is what I like about the infrastructure of my college. It is really comfortable sitting there doing whatever one likes.

Dislikes

The infrastructure could be improved, there is construction happening and I hope the new academic block turns out good.
The canteen food is not so much to my liking, it'll be really nice if they improve and also lower their prices.
Sports facilities are very negligible, they don't allow us to use the gym.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I enjoy studying all my core subjects and Vac, Sec subjects. I feel they add a lot more to my knowledge, also maybe as my core subjects I've very different subjects than what I've learnt in my schooling years, Philosophy and Psychology. These are really interesting and open a way to my knowledge and better understanding of the world and individuals living in it. The curriculum can be improved in a sense that they can reduce the number of hours for vac and sec subjects... And also if there can be a free choice to choose ge and aec subjects, this would be such a nice change for all the program students, B. A. or B. Com.

ECONOMANIA!!

Likes

Best Faculty of Economics..They teach very well and are very cooperative
Supportive teachers like they are extremely extremely supportive..
The classes are air conditioned and infrastructure is also good.

Dislikes

The library is bit outdated..Acs don't function properly
Sometimes watercoolers don't work at all which makes us drowned

Course Curriculum Overview:

As there are placements in Economics I choose this Course.The Nep should be removed ig(my psl point of view).Exams take place after every 6 months and adequate gaps are given between the exams so that we can perform well.

The Daulat Ram

Likes

The college student union is sooo good it organises all the events in well settled manner
Some teaching staff is very good in the college
There is hygiene maintained in the washrooms as well

Dislikes

The college administration is not so good they keep most the classes starting at 8 am which has no sense
Library is not good they do not allow to take books during exams time
Water problem the water is not drinkable at all

Course Curriculum Overview:

I filled for bcom hons but I got admission in bcom . The course how much I hoped for didn't meet my expectations and i don't think that It prepares me for the outside world and jobs in near future.you need to upgrade your skills yourself. Bcom alone can't stand

North Campus hype and Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi

Likes

The Mathematics Faculty is amazing. Faculty members are super active and motivates us for our studies. Apart from your, academic they guide us in our regular life. Life lesson during classes are the best part. Faculty Members keep classes interactive
Best part is practical classes. You got to know about many new things. Such an amazing staff I have never ever seen before.
Fest are the bestest part, I think. On college level fests they are amazing, fabulous and greatest fest. I think the best part of DRC is Manjari.

Dislikes

There's infrastructure issues which is under construction.
Annual fest is amazing but departmental fest could improve a little bit.
Funds should be open for students to organise the fest much more better.

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester, students become eligible for placements and for that you have to give 2 exams one is written exam and another one is interview round. I don't think so if any company visits deal are made up. I think 21 Lakh was the highest package and it was from Deloitte company ig. You should have 8+ CGPA and involved in extra curriculum activities, in short I would say your CV should be strong.

Pls don't hate girls college

Likes

The first thing which I really like about my college is that it's a girls college and I always wanted to be in a girls college because living in delhi I wanted to feel safe atleast somewhere that being my college I love it.
Our college has the biggest 3 floor Library and the biggest auditorium of delhi university. Performing on the stage of sadbhavna bhawan makes me feel so joyous.
The faculty of my course is really nice. They are so helpful I tell you they bring out the best in you. Psychology department is the best but I love my philosophy teachers too, they're just so helpful.

Dislikes

Infrastructure, omg it needs to improved a lot compared to other girls colleges our college isn't that of a beauty to stare and look at.
Canteen facilities, overpriced and does not taste good at all

Placement Experience:

I myself am in 1st year I don't have a big knowledge about this but yes placements are there in every college. Talking about mine Bcom hona gets the most placed. Rather than this i really don't a have a vast knowledge about this

A honest review of daulat ram college delhi university

Likes

College teachers, teaching method of college teachers r quit good.
College classroom which have inbuild acs.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is bad, not maintained nicely, building is broken.
Sports is available in very minimal rate as a physical education students we even didn't have badminton court.

There are a lot of courses available in daulat ram college. And there are some courses in North campus which are available only in daulat ram college. But the availability of course related equipments and things are not there like being a physical education students, college do not have proper sports game and things

Campus was well maintained. The faculty of the DRC is the best . There is a great focus on study and teachers try the best to teach .

Dislikes

Infrastructure of the college is very bad and it needs an improvement

I have chosen maths and the course is quite interesting. But this course can't be studied one day before the exam . You have to do it from the starting . And the course is quite scoring . The duration of course per semester is 4 months
