The course is good . But the fees for this course is so high which make it undesirable or some students. Faculty us good and they teach us well and there is no need of any improvement. Only they can do is to give less assignment.
I am interested in this subject and wanted to do research on this subject. So I applied here. The ratio of faculty and student is quite good. There are a good number of teachers in our college. They all are proficient in their subject. They all have done Ph.D. in mathematics. The teaching method is also excellent. Exams are regular and tough, but there are not tough when one studies well, exams seem to be easy for them.
The faculty: student ratio is 1:45. They are highly educated with a number of degrees, they have been appointed as an assistant professor in other colleges as well. They go to other colleges as a guest lecturer. For the Maths students, exams were taken twice in a semester once in the month of October (more like a unit test) and then in Nov-Dec. 2nd-semester exams are also taken twice in April and May.
I was quite good in mathematics, therefore I opted to pursue BSc Hons Mathematics. There are more than 20 teachers in our department, the total number of students in our department are almost 200. Exams are held semester wise. Passing an exam is not difficult at all. About 60% of student scores more than 8 CGPA.
