Best Faculty of Economics..They teach very well and are very cooperative
Supportive teachers like they are extremely extremely supportive..
The classes are air conditioned and infrastructure is also good.

Dislikes

The library is bit outdated..Acs don't function properly
Sometimes watercoolers don't work at all which makes us drowned

Course Curriculum Overview

As there are placements in Economics I choose this Course.The Nep should be removed ig(my psl point of view).Exams take place after every 6 months and adequate gaps are given between the exams so that we can perform well.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 32500 per year

Look firstly tuition fee of my course is 32500..and it is for the 2st year and you have to purchase yours books separately as prescribed by your teacher.Scholarships form come at regular basis after certain gaps for the students to avail benefits

Campus Life

The annual fest of DRC is Manjari..This time singer Akhil was invited as the star performer..and that was too good.Books are provided inside the college in photostat shops..there are many societies one can participate

Admission

Look..One has to give CuetUg exam..For my course.. Mathematics is compulsary in DU(maths+any other 2 domains+English) My exams took place in 2 shifts..English GT in first shift and PCM in 2nd(as I m from science bkg)

Faculty

Our class is divided in two sections Section A n Section B.Each consisting of 60 students and teachers are very cooperative..The professors make sure our concepts are clear and they cancel very less classes..They interact with us and solve our doubts in tutorial sessions

Truth About Hidden IPCW (DU)

Placement Experience:

Since i am 2nd year myself, hearing from seniors, seeing placement cell activities and reading reports, placement at ipcw are decent but far from perfect. The placement drive is not as huge or reliable as some commerce Acc. to the nirf report, for ug courses out of 1204 eligible students 118 got placed, which is roughly 9-10, for pg course, out of 100 eligible students only 6 got placed. Median package for UG was 6.20 lakhs per annum, and for pg is 6.7 lakhs per annum. In earlier years (2022-23) , median UG package was higher. The highest package went to 23 lakhs per annum which was quite impressive. It was from DE Show and co., Wipro, Capgeminie etc. there are regular recruiters like DE. Shaw abd co.,Wipro, Capegemini, Godrej properties, Sirion Labs etc. What i feel personaly as an eco hons. student unless i build extra i cant really expect placement. Masters and competetive exams are next option

Insights into DRC

After appearing for CUET UG, we make preferences of the desired college and on the basis on the CUET score, colleges are alloted. So, Daulat Ram College was my 7th preference and I was alloted this as per my category and cut off I cleaned. Although it was 7th preferred college, I have no regret of getting into it. Good internship opportunities

The admission process till last year in University of Delhi was on the basis of 12th std marks, but from this new session(2022-2023) there is an entrance test CUET. The eligibility for the same was the student must've cleared 12th board exams and the application form was available on NTA official site. People with reservations(SC, ST, OBC etc..) do get a lot of benefits like for them the marks are less for getting a good college as compared to non- reservation seats. Daulat Ram's Life

I gave Cuet examination for my course. The eligibity to pursue maths hons from delhi university was to give examination in mathematics and any other 3 subjects. To find the application form one should visit cuet.samarth.in, all the information regarding the dates, fees and syllabus are given there. I want to see some improvements in the admission process such as more hassel free process, as cuet was done for the first time this year so there were many things that did not went smoothly.
