What Students Say
Likes
- The college faculty was very amiable and helpful, including the laboratory staff.
- The rules and regulations were neither too strict nor too lenient.
- The library was the best thing about the college.
Dislikes
- The classroom infrastructure wasn't up to the mark.
- The canteen served stale food to students at times.
- The clerical staff wasn't very approachable.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum was well prepared but there was an issue of time management. Proper tests couldn't be held before exams due to the syllabus being too bulky to finish on time. The classes could have been a little more interactive if the syllabus was reduced a bit.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fee is very reasonable. Apart from the regular admission fee, the only other payment you need to make is for your examinations which is quite affordable as well. There was no campus employment opportunity that I know of.
Campus Life
I spent most of the time in library. I had also volunteered for the National Service Scheme(NSS). There are numerous fests and competitions held throughout the year, although I attended only few of them.
Admission
My admission process was merit based. The cut off depended on the percentage of marks scored in class 12. I only had to fill one application form in the beginning and then wait for the cut off lists. The application form was digitally available on the Delhi University website.
Faculty
The faculty members were well educated. They all had proper understanding of the subjects they were supposed to teach. They were also quite approachable and helpful. However, they could be a little unreasonable at times.
