Fee and Fines
- Securities are refundable within 3 years from the date the student leaves the College.
- Special fee equivalent to US $100 p.a. shall be charged from the Foreign Students.
- College dues are to be paid ONLINE. Cash/Cheques/Pay Orders/Drafts etc., are not accepted.
- In case a student fails to pay his / her dues within one month of the due date as notified, his/ her name will be struck off from the College rolls. Fine on late payment of fee is Re. 1.00 / day.
- Fine on Library books: General Re. 1/-per day & Overnight Rs. 2/- per day.
- Membership fee of Rs. 200 for the Alumni Association will be charged from IInd and IIIrd Yr. Students.
- A fine of Rs. 100 will be imposed for loss of Identity Card.

- I like everything about this college,like infrastructure, faculties,the staff members and also the guard.
- Seniors are very supportive and very sweet they will help you in everything.
Dislikes
- The thing that I dislike most about this college is that the classes does not have ac facility.
- Secondly the strict attendance policy, though after nep every college made attendance strict.

The yearly fees of atma ram sanatan dharma college,DU is 17,830 for 1 year of BA political science hons. Yes,the fee is increasing at a very high rate due to the success and growth of this college.The nirf ranking of arsd is 5th(as of 2024).
Likes
- Firstly I liked that the college provides lot of societies and club which enhances a student's personality
- Secondly the sporting facilities are great as the college has a badminton court and table tennis etc
Dislikes
- Firstly the schedule or the time table at which the classes begin as sometimes there is a gap of 2 hours
- The major disappointment is that the college doesn't have a hostel which makes it difficult for students to find a place to reside
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fee structure is one of the best thing about the college as the fees here is merely approx 15 thousand which is very less for a reputed college and they provide scholarships to ews students and to the people in need

- Infrastructure : ARSD College is one of the best in terms of infrastructure. Classes are well equipped and ventilated. Washrooms are well maintained. Seminar halls are top notch. Lawns are too well maintained.
- Crowd : ARSDC has mixed crowd therefore a student coming from any walk of life can easily have friends here. Bullying is almost non existent here. This college has good diversity of cultures
Dislikes
- Library staff : they are particularly rude and annoying. It's not very uncommon to see skirmishes between library staff and the students.
- Growing prestige vs legacy : ARSD's growth story is inspiring but It does not have a legacy name like North Campus or Sri Venkateshwara College.

Fees and Financial Aid:
The fee for an year ranges to 15,000 INR which varies according to EWS and non EWS category. This fees excludes examination fees which is charged during the form filling of semester end exam which costs 1100 INR. Rest no other charges are wielded by the Institution. The cost of courses also varies with the type of course you pursue p, e.g. in BSc you need access to functional labs therefore the costs are higher. The scholarship are offered under different courses. There are in total 17 scholarships, the eligibility of which can be known through the college's website. Taneja foundation scholarship is extended to any student with merit and need. The Placement Cell of ARSDC is highly active and gives monthly internships and employment opportunities.
Likes
- College environment is very good and lively. In terms of crowd and infrastructure I'll say I am very much satisfied. Well maintained gardens and grounds makes our college more beautiful.
- In terms of faculty, teachers are cooperative. They help and guide students in variety of aspects.
Dislikes
- Availability of drinking water specially in summers is a little disheartening as the drinking water is hot in temperature and sometimes taps are not working.
- Few teachers are not punctual with classes and its times and show un-professionalism.
Fees and Financial Aid:
Talking specifically about my course i.e, pol sci hons, course fee structure is somewhat around 14k-14.5k anually, apart from this semester-wise exam feez is not added under this. That has to be paid seperately, which is around 1k per semester exams.

- First thing that I liked in DU is the atmosphere which I got for studies.
- The seniors are quite friendly and supportive
Dislikes
- The most disliked thing in my college is the canteen food
- The infrastructure is not that good as I expected

The few structure in BA political science Hons is 15000/- per year , as per my understanding I didn't got any scholarship opportunity even when I was the topper of my class this year. And regarding the on campus jobs there is no such opportunity for humanities courses..rather they prefer technical courses

- College faculty are really supportive and have a great knowledge
- Clubs and societies are really fun and help me boost my confidence
Dislikes
- Teachers are a bit strict as the college focus lots on discipline.
- Lack of proper sports opportunities is also another problem i faced
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fee structure is really affordable, As it is a government institution all the courses have minimum fees. BA in Political Science cost only 52400 approx. for 4 years. And all other courses here vary at the range of 51000-70000 approx. And the college has a great placement record as well.

- Teaching staff and the infrastructure of college
- I liked the crowd of the college and the seniors as well they are very supportive
Dislikes
- Cancellation of classes at the end moment
- There is no auditorium in the college which is a great turn off

Fee is okay its like 15000 for a year which is not that much and ofcourse there are fee waivers and scholarships for students and there are schemes to help economically weaker students as well So fee is not a problem

- The college garden and ground is beautiful and spacious even though they don't let you in in the park
- The college has parking space for vehicles
Dislikes
- Some teachers are very bad in political science, one always praise bjp, some don't even know how to teach and one was very arrogant
- Three Tin sheds classes inside the campus, boys common room is very ill maintained, in the girls common room, guys are not allowed but girls seat in the boys common and also it a tin shed and only girls common room has ac and water cooler.

The fee structure is very low because 10000-11000 per year is very less if we compare it to private universities. Students do get fee concessions, financial assistance even from professors, and scholarships to. Don't know about any on-campus jobs.

- The fiest that they organised I didn't like.
- The canteen food I don't think so that it is good

There are so many types of scholarships we have in our college and we take scholarships by our college criteria, we have different kinds of internships and scholarships. The name of the scholarship is fee concession and Taneja foundation and Alumni scholarship.

- Facilities available in library like Air conditioner and good cheir .
- Will qualified professor with good way of teaching
Dislikes
- Timing of college is quite early about 8:30 and departing time 4:00
- Sometimes their is a huge gap between classes

The cost of the course is no11000 per year and the 510-semester exams fee yes scholarship is provided through NSP and financial assistance is also provided for the students of weaker sections on behalf of their financial condition.

Which college of DU is better for political science hons: Dyal Singh College or Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College?
My knowledge is limited to the individual institutes and not their political science departments. In my opinion, Dayal Singh is a better choice than ARSD. here are a few reasons that justify my opinion
- Dyal Singh College has better infrastructure, a great location, and easy access to the metro station. Whereas. The metro line is still under construction near ARSD College.
- Both colleges are listed among the top 10 colleges in India.
- The crowd quality is similar in both the colleges with Dyal Singh giving a slight edge to ARSD.
- Dyal Singh has excellent amenities with a basketball court and spacious ground.
- Dyal Singh houses a massive library with more than 58,000 books on different disciplines, ranging from rare to the latest.
- It has a fully air-conditioned reading room with computers
- Dyal Singh has the facility of UGC-INFLIBNET through which the students can also access e-journals.
All these points strongly claim that Dyal Singh is a better choice than ARSD unless you chose ASRD because of personal preferences.
