The faculty is average, with only 60% of them being really good. All faculties are PhD holders from IIT Bombay, under the TEQIP II programme. The Placement for BTech is great, but for MTech it's above average, overall. However, BTech and MTech students do paid internships, which later get converted to PPOs. Labs are developed under TEQIP II programme, hence they are equipped with modern equipment. Library facilities are poor as the staff are a bit lazy. The tuition fee is alright for Mumbai standards. The ROI is high if your performance is good. The sports facilities, indoor facilities are poor but VJTI has two big grounds: one for cricket and other for football.
