After 6th sem that is after 3rd year onwards students try to get ppo i.e pre placement offer also companies visited are google , microsoft, apple , nvidia and many more for us like extc the average is around 1145000 per year right now and for cs/it it is 20 to 18LPA The placed students percentage is overall Good in my branch more than 95% students got placed last year and some of them opt for higher studies and my plan is too going to higher studies after my degree

Detailed and Honest Review of VJTI - One of The Oldest Engineering Colleges in India.

Placement Experience:

1. From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. 2. Companies like Oracle, Texas Instruments and many more visit here. I'm not sure whether Google visited here or not but Google visited here for Internship and one student got selected. 3. Last year's highest package was 57 lpa CTC from cse and talking about average packages then cse-19.71, it-17.38, extc(entc)-11.13, electronics-11.17, electrical-10.43, mechanical-9, civil-6.87, production-7.28, textile-8.28. 4. Percentage of students getting placed are cse-93%, it-95%, extc(entc)-82%, electronics-84%, electrical-95%, mechanical-97%, civil-92%, production-70%, textile-72%. 5. Since I'm in second semester I haven't decided anything. Most probably I will persue higher education.

And obvioiusly the placement and internships, the highest intern last year was paid 5.9 lakhs for 2 months work at France google.

Placement Experience:

The Placement is one of the highlights of the entire college, the highest ever offerewd was 64 LPA. It has a great network of MNCs covered by the their training and placement office. Also it offers some placements abroad too. From 5th semester the stundents are elligible for campus placements. The average package of all branches combined is 13 LPA. The college claims a good placement rate. i too prefer sitting for campus placement

Mostly all students are applicable for internships and ppo's in 4th year of the course after passing their CGPA criteria.Many companies like Google ,Microsoft, Oracle, JP Morgan ,Texas Instruments,TCS etc have visited.The details of placement can be found on the vjti website.Percent of students getting placed is greater than 80% and rest of them go for higher studies or other exams such as govt exams etc.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 7th semester itself. The highest is around 62lpa and the average revolves around 14-15 which is a great ROI. Almost 100% of students get placed every year. My plans are to grab a good placement after the degree, most preferably in a good company on campus.

VJTI Mumbai offers a B. Tech degree in production engineering. The department’s main vision is to aid students in becoming competent and disciplined production engineers with sufficiently required skills. The following points highlight the placements with respect to this department.

Program statistics aiding placements:

The program has become a multidisciplinary course offering students a range of subjects to choose from.
With this diversity in the course and more exposure, students can expect better internship and placement opportunities.
Moreover, the program has also been recognized by the board of apprenticeship as well.
Due to this, various industries and projects are automatically added to the curriculum.
The department is also well connected with various industries and has visiting industrial faculty.

Fees:

The total fee for the entire program is INR 3.24 lakhs.

Placements:

A large number of well-known companies visit the institute annually and recruit students on a yearly basis.
Overall, the university sees an influx of more than 160 different companies.
Students from the production engineering courses are hired by companies like Blue Star, Godrej, Wipro, Tata Consultancy Services as well as Morgan Stanley and Deloitte Consulting.

Yes, there are several internship opportunities available at VJTI. VJTI offers opportunities in top companies and exposure to current technologies and corporate work culture.

There are certain policies for internships, which you’ll come to know in due time. For example, MCA students who have qualified for placements, are eligible for internships. If a BTech student gets one placement offer and one PPO, they can choose either of the two.

Back when I was studying at VJTI, over 288 undergraduate and postgraduate students got successful internship offers. They got a maximum stipend of INR 30,000 per month.

I have done my MTech from VJTI and can confirm that placements for MTech graduates are good. Though they are not up to the mark of BTech placements, the college provides good placement opportunities through campus drives.

MTech graduates generally find placement in core sectors as well as in domains like consulting, IT and research. The college has a strong industry connection and a brand name that attracts many companies for placement. The placement cell also assists MTech students in securing opportunities in top companies.

Many students from my batch got excellent job offers in MNCs and core companies. Out of my 23 juniors, 20 have also been placed. Overall, the placement situation for MTech students at VJTI is positive. It depends on the specialisation, industry situation and the need of postgraduate students at companies.

It is one of Maharashtra's premier engineering colleges and offers good placement opportunities for BTech students. The placement record can vary every year, but it is typically good.

The 2024 placements are currently ongoing at VJTI. As of now, more than 700 BTech students have enrolled for on-campus placements. A total of 401 BTech students have been placed till now with more expected to grab good offers as the campus drive continues.

The highest package was secured by a BTech Computer Science student which stood at INR 57 LPA. The average package for the BTech Computer Science branch was INR 20 LPA. The highest placement percentage was recorded by the BTech IT branch at 83% with the lowest belonging to the BTech Production Engineering branch at 26%.
