Ambience is very nice and good. Excellent Campus Placements
There is 16 acres of campus and many grounds
Mess Facility and affordable Hostel Stay.

Dislikes

Infrastructure can be improved and upgraded
Teaching and Assignment are really frustrating.
Lack of UPI payment in Canteen for students.

Course Curriculum Overview

Electronics Branch is one of my favourite branch. Due to semiconductor investments in India many companies will hire more electronics engineering. It will definitely come in demand in few years also..

Fees and Financial Aid

We have 80000 Rupees Yearly Fees For 4 year for General Category. There are lots of Scholarship especially for Category People. Many Students Who are orphan and Single Girl child also have scholarship. PwD also have.

Campus Life

There are many Comittee in colleges . Overly a good fest and technical atmosphere is there. Many Positive response and Attractive Campus Life. But Exams Sucks . Cleaning social group and media studies also present.

Admission

I got admission in almost Every College in Maharashtra. I got Many offers from good colleges like DJ sanghvi ,SPIT, PICT , COEP, SPCE, but I chose VJTI as it is one of the oldest and affordable college .

Faculty

The faculty to student is excellent Very optimum class size of 80 students each branch. Also exams are conducted like MST once and One ESE. Exams are quite Difficult and scoring 7+ CGPA might be very very challenging.

Night Life

There is no Gym no sports equipments . It suckes about this part. Only a small gymkhana with no equipped fan is present. Zero sports facilities. The hangout spot is a quad which is present in the heart of college.

the course is fairly relevant and covers the fundamentals required in the Field of CSEDS . the curriculum helps students build basic knowledge that can support both industry career and higher studies. the exam structure generally includes internal assessments, assignments and end sem examinations, the frequency is manageable.

Overall review of my college life in VIT Pune

Placement Experience:

The Training Placement Office Logins are given to us in the third year of the college where alot of companies gives opportunities to apply for the said job role or internship. Approximately 5 to 10 companies visits are there every month which increases as you enter your final year of college.

From the 6th semester the students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies visit this college like Infosys, Calfus , Amazon , UBS, Crowdstrike. In case of no campus placements, one can try research internship offered by college.

My experience at VIT pune

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placement is after 2 year or at 5th semester. And companies that have visited are Morgan Stanley, TCS, JP Morgan, etc. and many others. Basic package is about 7 lacs per annum which I consider as okay for freshers. And the student which got highest is 26 lac per annum as he was one of the brightest student of the college. I think 50 to 60 percent students get placed more or less maximum are low package students. My plans are different than doing job so not applied at any of the job.

placements are pretty decent here, especially for comp/it students. The average package here is around 12 to 14lakh, college provide on campus placements too, our placement cell is pretty hardworking. almost 97 to 99% of students get placed here.

My College Life Experience

I Actually don't applied for any other college my preference from first was VJTI only however I do add SPIT on my 2nd preference I don't get rejected I just choose VJTI because it has a great background than any other college also it's location is quite good to get admission students must give an exam name mht cet which is Maharashtra state common entrance test through which they get admission in my course and many other once result is out the admission has to be done through cap round cutoff for my course is between 95-99%+ile depends on various factors like reservation and etc etc overall admission process takes some days but it is worthy...Read More

Detailed and Honest Review of VJTI - One of The Oldest Engineering Colleges in India.

Talking about other colleges I applied for, I registered for JOSAA and CSAB both. Through JOSAA I got the IIT Dharwad, since I got the BS plus MS programm there I regestered for CSAB, through CSAB I secured seat into iiit Bhopal cse. Because it is a newly established iiit, it does have poor facilities. Then through CAP counselling I got seat at VJTI. Then Ieft iiit Bhopal and joined VJTI. Today I think that, the decision taken by me was absolutely right. Apart from this I also applied for IIST Thiruvananthpuram but due to my 12th board score I could not make it. As IIST has a criteria that student should secure minimum 75% in board exams. IIST does not have 20%ile criteria where all iits,nits and gftis has....Read More

To do engineering in Maharashtra, MH-CET is compulsory and every student here has come that way. Rank of 3000-4500 is enough for general category students to secure admission in VJTI's E&TC branch.
