Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course which I have chosen is B Tech in Mechanical Engineering, because it is the core branch and the curriculum also includes specific important subjects like Systems in Mechanical Engineering (SME), etc.

Internships Opportunities

4

The internships are provided from first year only. The FY students have social internship. I have not experienced it yet because I am just in my FY and I have no idea about the other internships provided in other years.

Placement Experience

5

From 3rd year atudents becomes eligible for placements if he/she has developed or built proper skills. Many companies like Wipro, Flipkart, Amazon, etc. visit and there are a lot of offers made every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

In our college, for open category Tution fees: 17000/- Development fees: 45000/- Exam fees: 2500/- For OBC/VJ/NT students Tution fees: 0 Other fees are the same as mentioned above For SC/ST students Total fees is just 9,500/- For othe categories I don't know about the fee structure

Campus Life

5

Fests like Pune Startup Fest (PSF), MindSpark, etc. are very popular. Regatta is also an event where students can participate and make beautiful memories. The facilities provided are the best in our college and the environment of campus is very hygenic and cleaned time to time. The clubs manage the timings of involvement of club members and other meets according to the timetable of academics. Everything is very managed and students enjoy a lot in there respective clubs.

Hostel Facilities

5

There are two blocks of girls hostel specially for FY. The bigger block is for girls from SY to final year and there is also a block for PG girls. The rooms are cleaned once in a week and there are 4 students per room. One cupboard, study table and bed is provided to each of them. There is mess immediately below the blocks and food quality is very good.

Admission

The admission process in COEP college was very much sorted and when any student come for the admission the faculties here or the members of the admission speak very fluently and softly with the student and the student clearly gets what he/she exactly want to do in the admission process. I think that this is the best college, because in this college there is equal balance between the events and academics. There are many clubs in our college which are technical as well as non-technical. Everyone gets chance to participate in the events.

Faculty

5

As I said earlier, faculty of every subject is really very good. There are two exams, one of them is Mid Sem Exam and the other is End Sem Exam. The ratio of students failing in the exams is very low.

Night Life

5

The college campus is closed at night. And for girls hostel in time is 9 PM the whole week. So, the girls and boys are safe here all the time. Security of college as well as hostel campus is very high tech. Library of our college is the best part and it is very silent and many students prefer to study there.

Placement Experience:

Placement at GH Raisoni College Of Engineering and Management are moderate, especially for CSE/AI Student . Students become eligible from the 7th sem. companies like TCS, Infosys, and WIPro visit the campus. The higher package goes upto around 8-10 LPA, and the average Package is 3-4 LPA. Around 60-75% of students get placed. After graduation, i plan to work in software/AI roles and improve my skills through internship and Certifications.

AISSMS College of Engineering - [AISSMSCOE], Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (VLSI Design & Technology)

Placement Experience:

The faculty-to-student ratio is about 1:20, and most teachers are quite approachable if you meet them during their free slots. I really appreciate the senior professors in the core departments because they have deep subject knowledge and explain concepts practically. However, some newer faculty members tend to stick strictly to the textbook or slides, which makes the lectures a bit dry. Since the college follows the SPPU pattern. I chose this course after a long CAP round process. Initially, I was aiming for VIT or DY Patil in Pune, and even checked out colleges in Mumbai and MVP KBTCOE in Nashik, but I ultimately landed here at AISSMS. The curriculum is quite comprehensive for building a strong engineering foundation, though I feel it could include more industry-relevant tools and coding workshops.

Placement Experience:

The placments are overall moderately good especially if you are from electrical branches including Electrical , Electronics, Computer, and Instrumentation Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. From third year onwards internship season starts where companies visits our campus and students need to go through online tests and series of interviews for each companies to get offer where the students selected for offer need to attend the internship after the end of third year in may and june when college have holidays. Similarly Based on performance the interns may get full time offer as well. Full Time Placement starts in final year and the process is exactly same where the interviews are mostly online and the students placed gets the offer letter. Almost 90 - 95% of the students especially of above branches gets placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So the Computer Engineering is all about core subjects which are really helpful for future like cloud, iot and Database etc But the syllabus of the university change after every 4 years and there is nothing but removing one subject and add another similar subject but I think in era of Ai and automation the syllabus is sort of outdated like if you are getting in Second year you have to learn subject which you have not interested in so you have to learn those subjects anyway and if you want to learn more about new skills you have to do it by yourself.
