About SCOE
Sinhgad College of Engineering Commonly called SCOE. It is situated in Vadgaon, Pune. It was built in 1996. This private institution of higher education is authoritatively certified with Savitribai Phule Pune University. All the programs offered at the institute are the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved.
The institute provides 4-year undergraduate engineering programs. Sinhgad College of Engineering offers 27 specializations across four courses, with eight under the B.Tech course, 14 under the M.Tech course, one under MBA, and four under Ph.D. The institute has almost 6 engineering departments. SCOE Admissions
Candidates who wish to pursue BE/BTech at Sinhgad College of Engineering need to give the entrance exam- MHT CET.
Admission to MTech courses is entrance based. The aspirants must have valid marks in the GATE examination.
For MBA admissions, valid marks in CAT/MAT/MAH-CET are required.
For selection in Ph.D., a candidate must GATE or UGC NET qualified.
How to Apply for B.Tech?
Candidate needs to clear the entrance exams first for taking admission in B.Tech. The entrance exam either is JEE-Main or MHT-CET.
How to apply for JEE- Main?
- Firstly the candidate needs to visit the official website of JEE Mains.
- Then the candidate needs to register for the online application form.
- Candidate gets a system generated application number which he/she needs to note for giving an exam.
- After the candidate needs to create a password l Log in again and fill out the form
- Then he/she needs to upload scanned images of photographs and signature
- After filling all the details, the candidate has to provide a fee of 650 INR (325 INR for reserved categories) will be charged/ It is to be paid through Debit card, Credit card, Net banking, UPI, or Paytm.
- At last, the printout of the application form should be taken for future use.
How to Apply for MHT- CET?
Candidates enrolling for B Tech course have to sit the MHT- CET. For filling the application form, follow the steps given below:
- Firstly the candidate needs to fill out the online application form at the DTE website.
- Then he/she has to upload scanned copies of necessary documents.
- A fee of 800 INR (600 INR for reserved categories) will be charged. It is to be paid online.
- At last, the printout is taken.
How to Apply for M.Tech?
Candidates enrolling for the M.Tech course have to take the GATE. Following are the steps for applying for GATE:
- Visit the official website
- Then the candidate needs to register by entering the candidate’s name, email ID, and mobile number.
- Then the enrollment ID will be sent to the candidate’s mobile number after the form gets filled.
- Then the candidate needs to fill out the application form.
- A fee of 1,500 INR (750 INR for women and reserved categories) will be charged. It is to be paid online.
- Download the form and keep a printout for future reference.

Those who qualify the GATE will be required to undergo counseling via CAP:

It includes the video lectures and presentations by renowned professors of IITs and also Foreign Universities through the Unified Library Server. It has an institutional membership of DELNET, INFLIBNET.
- Computer Center: Computing facilities are provided with the latest configuration and an Internet connection for the use of students and staff of the college
- Auditoriums: Sinhgad Institutes have big auditoriums, conference halls. These are fortified with Hi-tech audio-video gadgets and are intended for a huge seating capacity for a host of functions and events that are accompanied occasionally.

- The best thing about college is the experienced professors and the regularity of classes which is very good to have as an experience.
- Taking admission in Pune for engineering and want a campus life, then this is the best college.

- The ratio of placements to that of the admission is poor.

To be honest this college was at like number 20 on my list and I got admission in it, honestly I tried taking admission in colleges like PCCOE, PICT VIT which are better than SCOE but I couldn't get it.My admission was on the basis of CET score

I chose this college because I will get less percentage in mht cet otherwise I preferred vit ,pict,pcceo over this college because this colleges are autonomous and less pressure of exam and more practical based teaching is there .for addmission process you need to fill cap round form if you get this college confirm and go to the college for addmission, cut off for entc is around 85% and for cs and IT it is 92+ for mechanical it's around 20 for last round overall addmission process is good

I choose these college because my cet score is 82 percentile and with this percentile I will not get better college than this so I will get admission in this college in electronic and telecommunications department

- The attendance policy is very strict. Students with low attendance have to suffer a lot.

I got admission through CAP round on the basis of my MHTCET percentile. I have applied to other colleges also. I liked the campus of the college. I want the Sinhagad College of Engineering, but I didn't have enough rank. So I got this college. But this is also a nice college

- The security provided to the students in the campus is excellent

- Staff is not supportive, it is too much strict, students need a friendly staff

for biotechnology there are very few colleges, and this collge is at just near from my home so i just choosed it and just because i got it in cet list.there are no such specific reson to choose these college.
