Fees and Financial Aid:

I was in Sinhgad college of engineering and have completed my bachelors of engineering in chemical in 2023. I took admission in Jan 2021 as i have already completed my Diploma in chemical engineering so it took 3 years for degree. The total fees of the course is nearly ?140000 when i took the admission I opted for the scholarship so it was Maha DBT scholarship in which we get 50% off on total tution fees then I need to pay ?70,000 and the rest ?70000 is paid by goverment through Maha DBT scholarship and in this every 6 months half amount is given like in 2 installments we get the amount first half ?35000 in college account as fees of particular student and ?350 in students personal account for stationary use and likewise same amount is paid again in 2 installment ?35000 in college account and ?350 in student account. This is how general categories student can wave 50 % scholarship for this course in SPPU. this scholarship is only for some general categories students but if in case of SC caste categories student they get total fees of 1,40,000 in which they apply under same scholarship but with different category that is SC So in this they need to pay only admission fees which is ?3500 the rest fees is paid paid by government and student get ?3000 in their personal account like they too get the amount in 2 installments like first installment of ?1750 in college account and ?1500 in students personal bank account and then in the same way second installment is released by the government. For EWS category in that student need to pay ?70000 of tution fees and they too grt the amount in two installment but in this case ?35000 is transferred to college account and student get get ?1500 in their personal account and likewise for the second installment all total student get ?3000 in accountFor this scholarhip process the candidate must have income certificate, caste certificate, domicile, all the marksheets, leaving certificate and photo id proof of candidate and parents.

Fees of Sinhgad college of engineering (SCOE) annually for general is 1,38,000. Some category benifits are following - 1) SEBC / EWS category have two scholarships one is Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Scholarship for living expenses gives you 60,000rs per year and second is Rajashri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulkh Shishyavrutti Yojana this is for 50% fees waiver from total fees this scholarship is for SEBC Catagory students. 2) OBC & AC/ST category have scholarships one of them is Savitribai Phule scholarship is for Living expenses gives you 60,000rs per year and second is Post Matric Scholarship is for 50% fees waiver. Most important thing is this scholarship not on merit based. This scholarship is only for reserved category students.

The fees include tution fee , development fee, etc. There are various scholarships that one can opt for ( if under any category). For open category the fee is around 1.35L per year, for other categories like obc it is around 25 thousand, it depends to which category you belong.

SCOE at a glance

The fees for doing B.E In Sinhgad College of engineering is 135000Rs. But students can avail both scholarships and freeships from the government. For reserved category students the fees is very affordable. For SC category the fees is around 8000rs.

Think twice before making decision

I paid yearly 75000 for first year and fees is decreased in second year and current fees is 65000 and these fees is for ews category and also same for the obc category but for sc/st category your fee will be 17000.Also there are scholarship from government for sc/st students

My college fees is 100008 and Iam paying full fees because I am in open category So there is 1 scholarship which is maha dbt scholarship but that comes very late That scholarship give me half of my college fees

Sinhgad College - a life of a student

Student Snaps:

The year wise fee of all the categories is different. These categories are based on caste. The fee for open student without any reservation is 1 lakh 37 thousand. I am a OBC student, I pay 80 thousand in first year. Whereas this fees is reduced to 73 thousand per year from second year to fourth year. Also the fee for VJNT students is 24 thousand in the first year. The least fee is for SC students, they pay a nominal fee of 8 thousand rupees for first year and 2 thousand rupees for second to third year. Also they receive a scholarship of 60 thousand per year direct to their bank account. Whereas OBC students get 1350 rupees per semester and the other is transferred to college.

Sinhgad College - Pros and Cons

Singhad College of Engineering is an average Engineering college with decent placement, students who are good at communication and sound with technical skills can easily achieve placement. For year, 2019-2023, the fee structure are as follows:- Rs.1,37,000 for first year, Rs.1,27,000 per year for rest 3 years. These fees are increasing gradually per year. No, the college didn't provide any internship opportunity. Our 3rd year internship was on our own and we just had to submit the documents to college as a proof we completed our internship.
