Dislikes

If you are from other state you may face certain challenges in terms of weather that is the thing that I don't like
We cannot be dependent on faculty you have to study by your own that I don't like
Boat club water is not good for health you should not take part

Course Curriculum Overview

As far as I have seen the civil department this is one of the oldest branch here that is the reason I have choosed this because the faculties are very experienced. Their is a sufficient gap for the exams but you have to prepare from the day 1 level of exam is moderate to hard.

Class Size: 110Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Internships Opportunities

L&T and godrej are the companies that come this year and the stipend godrej have given 20000/month and L and T have given 15000/month.In the other departments lots of companies are coming for the internship.

Placement Experience

From 7th semester students are getting placed alot of companies are visiting in our college like Godrej Baja Capacite L and T and many more Offers are more than 7lac/annum Students who have 7+cgpa are getting placed easily 6.5 students also getting placed but the chances are 50-50%

Fees and Financial Aid

College fee for the general category is 125000 Fee for the obc category is 77000 For SC/st category the fee is 15000 Different types of scholarships are here like the alumina scholarships and MAHADBT scholarship

Campus Life

Here are alot of annual festivals Like Zest and Raggata (mini and major raggata) Impression is one more. 50000+ Books are available in our library. Numerous number of clubs are in our college For UPSC and many more clubs

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is best .in one room their are 4 students you will get 2 fans and 4 separate alamri's. Mess our hostel is one of the best I have ever seen daily the menu is getting changed different days have the different menus. Before 10 days of college starting you have to fill up a form for hostel if you are from general category your cgpa should be 7+ to get a seat.

Hostel Fee: INR 55000 per year

Admission

I have choosed this college iver the islamic University kashmir because the curriculum here I have find better as compared to that one main reason is also here after the 15days of exams results are getting declared and in this college their is option for re exam .means if you are getting back in any course at the end of year you will get one more opportunity.

Faculty

Professors of our college are tremendous and very experienced . You have opportunity here to take the extra course in the 5th sem for that you will get extra degree along with the btech. Marking scheme is 10 marks assignment 30 marks mid terms 60 marks end sem

Night Life

Yes their is a gym in our college and in our hostel also timing for gym is 6:30-9:30 morning and 6-9 evening. Cafeteria is also their in hostel timing is (11am to 11pm) Hostel timing for boys 5am to 11:59 pm For girls 5am to 9pm

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Placements are not that good you have to apply for job on yourself collage will not get you a job There placements team is not cooperating with students Only local companies visited here who gave 10 to 15 k per month all the students at my time got job on their own collage was not responsible for that Average package is about 3 lps and highest was 6 lpa I have to do another course to get placement

Course Curriculum Overview:

Honestly say I choose this college because of proper lab's are provided. Every equipment are there. So performing practical are easy to perform. I wann suggest to improvement in group activities, make sure that you gave group activities to student. As well as ppt presentations.

Nice campus but bs college life

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements in 7th semester. You just have to be all clear in exams and you can appear for placement. Companies visited are Infosys TCS tech Mahindra the highest packages 1.2 crore and the average packages 3 lakhs and total 60% students got placed

Good infrastructure and facilities

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for the campus from the seventh semester. The companies visited in the core sector are Triveni Turbines, Manas Agro Industries, Bosch, Mecgale pneumatics, and Antony waste. The highest package was up to 4 LPA and the lowest was 2.2 LPA. 30% of students get placements during the Covid period. I got placed in a power plant and I m working there.

My dream college COEP

The reason i choose this college is my father and my brother , and the amount of rich education this college provides , number of opportunities this college gives is just immense we cannot compare it to any other colleges. While i applied to COEP I also applied to VJTI but they didn't had instrumentation and control course program that i wanted. Hence it was obvious COEP was best out of all. Admission process in COEP is quite systematic first it's online after online cap round if the college is allotted to you , you have to confirm it within a date given, then starts your offline admission which is also quite simple and not hectic just you need proper documents available with you . Fees as well you can pay in installments I applied of pict pune vjti but as COEP was my first Preference and I had good grades i got coep in my first attempts No i didn't got rejected in any college. Currenlty I am in the one of the best college in Maharashtra which u get on your cet marks also you can take the admission through jee marks while taking admission through the online mode of cet the top option i selected was coep and also the cet ranked it as top since the cut off for the cse of general category was 99.78 percentile i don't want to go into another college since i wanted a top college and top college coz my cet score was 99.84 so i applied for top 3 colleges of maharashtra coep,vjti and Walcand where i got the admission in coep in second round through tfws. I didn't actually had any other college in option other than VJTI but VJTI was my second pref and this got autofrezeed for that reason, i couldn't opt that college. Other than that I had option of joining merchant navy as I gave that exam as well and was eligible to join in the colleges I wanted by my parents thought the life there is quite unhealthy and it will have long term impact on me even though the money is good....Read More
