As this is the top most clg present in mumbai other that iit so I applied for coep too but due to priority order I got in vjti Nice college but oldut is 137 year old college mht cet was the qualifying exam here

Curriculum is followed accordingly as currently I'm in first year so can't tell more about it as gradually exploring college will help me learn how clg curriculum works and teacher and good enough to. Follow any curriculum

Internships Opportunities

Tonnes of intership offer come to vjti can't explain more as I am in first year but listening from seniors u get a lot of internship opportunities and project are done in the college helpful to get paid internship

Placement Experience

Placement rate is 85% according to my branch with highest package of 38.6lpa and lowest of 6lpa and avg of 12.63lpa. my plan after doing degree is going to usa for masters from a govt college in usa that's all

Fees and Financial Aid

Very Nice college I paid 85551/- as general but I got the benifit of seat of ntc as due to income was more my other sc friend have paid around 4k and as well st also around 7 or 8k tonnes of scholarships tution fee is 15k

Campus Life

Pratibimba the main committee for organising fest major commities like technovanza,debate and literary arts ,and various other commities conduct fest according to their free time many filmstars come in our collg for these fests

Faculty

The faculty is very good Cooperative helpful during exams and all are drs phd teaching ability descent due to autonomous teachers usually refer foreign authors books for teaching curriculum not followed of mu

Night Life

I'm a day scholar so can't tell more about night life but according to friends from hostel telling night life is amazing people wake till morning 3 and then sleep most of them skip early morning lectures due to this

My experience at VIT pune

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placement is after 2 year or at 5th semester. And companies that have visited are Morgan Stanley, TCS, JP Morgan, etc. and many others. Basic package is about 7 lacs per annum which I consider as okay for freshers. And the student which got highest is 26 lac per annum as he was one of the brightest student of the college. I think 50 to 60 percent students get placed more or less maximum are low package students. My plans are different than doing job so not applied at any of the job.

Students are eligible for placement from the third year itself for ppo and so. There are several companies visiting thakur around the year and there are a lot who get placement off campus too. I have heard a student from comps got into google at 72lpa. you can visit the tnp site for more detail.

My College Life Experience

I Actually don't applied for any other college my preference from first was VJTI only however I do add SPIT on my 2nd preference I don't get rejected I just choose VJTI because it has a great background than any other college also it's location is quite good to get admission students must give an exam name mht cet which is Maharashtra state common entrance test through which they get admission in my course and many other once result is out the admission has to be done through cap round cutoff for my course is between 95-99%+ile depends on various factors like reservation and etc etc overall admission process takes some days but it is worthy...Read More

Detailed and Honest Review of VJTI - One of The Oldest Engineering Colleges in India.

Talking about other colleges I applied for, I registered for JOSAA and CSAB both. Through JOSAA I got the IIT Dharwad, since I got the BS plus MS programm there I regestered for CSAB, through CSAB I secured seat into iiit Bhopal cse. Because it is a newly established iiit, it does have poor facilities. Then through CAP counselling I got seat at VJTI. Then Ieft iiit Bhopal and joined VJTI. Today I think that, the decision taken by me was absolutely right. Apart from this I also applied for IIST Thiruvananthpuram but due to my 12th board score I could not make it. As IIST has a criteria that student should secure minimum 75% in board exams. IIST does not have 20%ile criteria where all iits,nits and gftis has....Read More

To do engineering in Maharashtra, MH-CET is compulsory and every student here has come that way. Rank of 3000-4500 is enough for general category students to secure admission in VJTI's E&TC branch.
