LSR Delhi Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Our college has its own Placement Cell which is one of the best perfoming PCells of the entire DU Circuit. The Placement Cell offers internship and placement opportunities. Students are eligible to sit for internships in their Second year and Placements in both Third and Fourth Year. The PCell guides you through the various processes from CV Vetting to actual interviews. Internships have a great track record from companies like Bain, Macquarie, BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, BCG and more coming to the college. With some of the highest packages achieved, LSR alumnis have secured placements at BCG, McKinsey, Bain, Deloitte, Gartner, Blackrock, Accenture, Godrej, and more.

Nomura, Barclays, and likewise many investment companies be it local or international companies which requires maths to do the detailed charting are the ones that gave us secured jobs with 40 to 50 thousand in hand.

Students of third year are only eligible for placement, rest all are eligible for internship opportunities. LSR provides internship and placement in many sectors like data science, consultancy, etc. The placement rate of LSR is very good, having highest package in history of Delhi University with 49 LPA. Also having 11 LPA as average package. Many prestigious companies came to campus for placement and internship such as Macquarie, BlackRock, McKinsey, etc.

bsc mathematics is a tough course if you love maths you can go for it it is very theoretical not problem solving. it increases the learning power and ability to learn.bsc mathematics provides many job opportunities like if you want to be maths teacher or if you want to be a scientist or a mathematician

I feel the curriculum is mostly based on theoretical not on practical aspects of statistics till now! So I feel that needs to be improved for sure. For practical aspects do case studies, learn sql, python for data analyst apart from college. Exams are not tough but not that easy too just study previous year questions and watch videos on youtube about the topics coming in exam.

The placement are available. And LSR has one of the highest placements in DU. According to the 2023 placement report, LSR recorded the highest package of INR 44.8 LPA and an average package of INR 11.8 LPA. Some of the top recruiters include McKinsey & Co., Boston Consulting Group, Kepler Cannon, DE Shaw, Accenture, Dalberg, Trinity, Deloitte, EY, KPMG and many more.

We become eligible for placements in our third year (so the fifth semester). We can sit for internships before that. Many prestigious companies visit our campus, including McKinsey, HUL, BCG, BlackStone, BlackRock etc. The highest package offered in DU history is from our college (and my course!) which was 48.9 lakh p/a by BlackStone to a student in Batch of 2024. The average package is 10.5 lakh p/a. There were 215 final placement offers. My plans after the degree are to enter the world of finance or consulting, hopefully. I am also open to higher studies or an MBA. Maths H keeps a lot of doors open.

I can rate it 5 if u really love data this is for u , go for it , stats open many fields for u like u can also pursue masters in this or economics too , u can pursue actuarial science too , and if want to do govt job u can give ISS exam tok

The placement rate of my college is very high. Lady shri ram college got the highest package of 49 lpa. Which was the highest in all delhi university colleges. Also in addition to placement, college also provides opportunities for various part time and full time internships

The curriculum of LSR is too tight and precise to be honest. Like in my course, we had 100s of practicals lined up every week and had regular lectures and our professors rarely took offs and they even used to take extra classes so that our course is finished on time. Their main aim was to prepare us for each and every thing.
