- With extremely talented and hardworking teachers, it was a great help to all of the students.
- The Placement Cell does a good job informing students about internship opportunities, although none of them are on campus.
Dislikes
- Deloitte, NIIT, McKinsey, PwC, and some other small firms visited the college for placements during my year.
- No, I didnt need one, and I guess the college didnt offer a hostel. Also, I live with my family, and it is not so far away from the place I stay

Course Curriculum Overview:
Most of the paper exam time is 3 hrs and which is good for me and sometimes is 2 hrs which is little bad bcz in 2 hrs we have write but 2? hrs is good toh check and write!!but it's good because we have to write in a very short and beautiful way!!

- Safe environment - Because JMC is an all girls college, me and my friends always felt safe.
- Friendly faculty - The teachers were very kind and understanding and very frank. If we had to get any rescheduled due to long gaps, they wild agree to do so very easily.
Dislikes
- No air conditioner- There are no air conditioners in classrooms except in the library and the lab, however at such a low fee structure you cannot expect air conditioned classrooms
- Slow office response - as with any college the college office takes a lot of time to provide you with any documents.
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for campus placements from their 5th semester. The companies that visited this year included Deloitte, Bain & Co., BCG, Zomato, Genpact, KPMG, Pwc, ICICI bank, Tophire etc. Highest average package was 14LPA and the average package is 6LPA. Roles offered for Bcom students were - Audit associate, Hrs, Marketing, Account Manager, Customer Support Associate, etc. I plan on finding a job off campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is amazing. There are 3 DSC each semester and 1 VAC 1 SEC AND 1 GE and 1 Practical course The difficulty level is high, therefore there is a need of regular studies. Mathematics and AI go hand in hand so it is very helpful course for those who want to persue their career in AI and Analysis.

- Amazing, genuine faculty, who not only taught well but also maintained a healthy and approachable relationship with students

- The lack of exposure to placement and internship opportunities
- No appropriate basic amenities occasionally, like a good working fan , a study chair/table etc especially during exam times.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum offers a well structured knowledge on how the society works and what goes behind the smooth functioning of the same. The very aspect of the basic programming of the society is what influenced my decision to choose this course. After 3 years of deeply rooted learning of the society around you it molds you into more than just a citizen but also as a radicalist who will constantly look for opportunities to make the society better. The course could however provide more opportunities of fieldwork and practice-based learning throughout the course to ensure more efficient knowledge instilled. The exams are not as difficult as one would anticipate. Since most concepts you are expected to cover are theories, if you are good at reading and remembering information you are good to go.
Likes
- Infrastructure is great, the buildings have good seating and the walls are painted regularly. The wall putty isn't coming off and there are projectors in some classes.
- We have a hell lotta societies for every kind of passion and also some compulsory societies so society life is good imo.
Dislikes
- There's only one water cooler with cold water outside the buildings in one far corner, the rest drinking water places are not very good and neither offer cold water.
- The GE teacher wouldn't take more than half the classes and then proceeded to call us a day before our exam to finish the syllabus. (English ge)
Placement Experience:
There is a placement cell in the college which provides, i'd say okay-ish placements. Considering I'm a psych major, I don't see practically any placements related to psych. Most are useful for eco or b com students or management or of the like. There are however opportunities for social media manager and stuff of someone wants to earn some money

- The faculty was very nice to the students.
- They probably have the best campus in Delhi University
Dislikes
- Some of the faculty might be really rude sometimes.
- They have a very strict attendance policy of 66%.
Course Curriculum Overview:
My course was BA in Spanish and Advertising which was a good choice for students who don't want to major in just one subject. We had both these subjects in all the semester, two other subjects used to change semester wise. Overall both these subjects were taught to us in detail over three years.
Likes
- The very thing I like about the college is that on the very first day of the college, the orientation program make you know the worthiness of being in JMC it gives a whole tour of college and societies also give orientations all by senior student.
- The faculty is very supportive and efficient, zero tolerance towards the ragging and bully as the discipline committee is strict and active
Dislikes
- There is nothing as such dislike but we can say that a point of improvement is needed is the hostel facility which is required
- Linguistic understanding should be more improved as there are students who does not opt for English but Hindi
Placement Experience:
The interview sessions by the companies starts from the fifth semester but students are given placements in sixth semester. Companies like Deloitte, Genpact, Accenture, ditto, ICICI Bank, Gartner visits to offer placements. The average package is 7.8 LPA and highest is 21 LPA. 60% students get the placement, however my personal plan is to pursue further studies.

- Jesus and Mary College has an excellent infrastructure. The campus features state-of-the-art facilities, well-equipped classrooms, and labs as well.
- There are always events, seminars and cultural festivals going on which enrich the academic experience.
Dislikes
- Proper cleaning of washrooms and the presence of soap and sanitary napkins in the washrooms must be ensured.
- Upgrading classroom technology and providing more online learning resources can enhance the learning experience.
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for campus placements after 5th semester, i.e. during their 6th semester. Various companies including major recruiters like EY, Wipro, PWC , Accenture and ICICI Bank participate in the placement drive. A total of 187+ job offers were made to the students. The highest package was 21 lakh per annum and the average package was 7 lakh per annum. The highest package in 2021-22 was 6. 54 lakh per annum which was offered by ICICI Bank.

- The campus is bustling with activity and offers a lively environment with a number of fests, cultural events and a huge number of societies.
- JMC has one of the best infrastructures in the whole University of Delhi.
Dislikes
- The teachers can be a little biased when it comes to honors and program students.
- The attendance and grading system is really strict.
Placement Experience:
Campus placements are organised around October for the third year students by the placement cell. Companies like PwC, Deloitte, EY, Bain, BCG, Accenture, Genpact etc. are consistent recruiters. The highest package offered last year was 22 lacs p.a. to an economic honors student. The placement numbers are the highest for economic honours followed by bcom hons, bcom program and mathematics honors students.

- There are a lot of seminars for students who are trying for UPSC, CAT. The placement cell of our college is average
Dislikes
- The classrooms of our college are not that organised. And sometimes our classes gets cancelled during the last moments.
- There are no hostel services provided by the college
Placement Experience:
Students are elligible for placements after completing third/fourh year. The highest package offered by our college is 10 lakh. I honestly do not know about the placement cell of our college as I will most probably do my Masters after completing UG.
