Which is better for a B.Com, Shaheed Bhagat Singh College or JMC?

Both collegesbelong to the same league. However, for a B.Com degree, Shaheed Bhagat Singh College is better. It has a better faculty base for Commerce. It also offers better gender diversity. Although JMC has good faculty for B.Com, it’s not better than SBSC. JMC has a vast campus but there are not many hangout places or food joints, etc. Overall, SBSC is definitely a better option for doing B.Com.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The yearly fees that i'm paying is approximately 32000 for a bcom program degree from jesus and mary college. The fees according to me is justified and is not high like private colleges. My classmates from other category have a slightly lesser fees.

The life at Jesus & Mary college

In my first year, i paid around 21,000 as the total fees and in my second year around 26,000. This fees includes tuition fees along with other compulsory charges like registration, development and lab fees, the overall fees has increased throughout the years. Students from other categories have different fees structure and many of them additional benifits with reduced charges

Fees for this year = 27,100 for bcom program And fees for bcom Honours is 28,000. The fees paid by an Economics honours student is around 30,000. Scholarships are also provided by Delhi University to encourage lower income family-students.

Jmc college life

I will be paying 28000 per semester I have already paid for the first semester now i have 5 semesters left So 28000 * 5 = 140000 is still due to the university from me. There are various types of reservation quotas available for different students

The Best college of Delhi

The structure of fee was good at my time , I do not remember the exact figure but that was around 8k yearly. But now it hikes too much as I have seen my siblings fee structure , I think it hikes before time. It should be improve.

Dislikes

The attendance and grading system is really strict.

The fees is affordable around 20,600 per year. Significant hikes in fees is not there. The examination form for each semester costs around 1300. There are multiple scholarships available on the basis of merit in CGPA. The details can be found on the college website.

There was a hike in the annual fee from 15k to 20k but still affordable depending on the quality of education provided. Nominal exam fees is to be paid separately for each semester exam. Overall the cost to study is great.

My college experience is amazing and i enjoyed a lot

The fee structure is not much high semester fee is 3050 and exam fees per sem 610 and I have not to get the scholarship and in this fee, my parents were satisfied there is not much pressure and affordable fee in this college and I have not financially good.
