Likes

JMC has an event hall building which is specifically for hosting events.
We also have a monf boggling fest in Montage which is an all girls fest.
We have dance and theatre societies and also societies related to fashion as well.

Dislikes

Politics is one thing which is played at the highest level by students of our college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have always wondered to eat what's on your plate. In DU, most students dont get their desired branch but get what's available. Sociology to me was that and initially I had some doubts as I was getting some lower ranked colleges but then JMC was a dream and so I opted sociology as it was the only bench available as per my scores.

Internships Opportunities

Welness industries are growing and a majority of startups are seen putting up and they are always in hunt for interns. So we get great opportunities not just tk work with startups but well established welness companies as well.

Placement Experience

At JMC placements cell which is probably controlled by the students make sure all the departments of the college gets placed. So welness industry where we can serve the best is one which hired students of Sociology.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure of JMC Delhi is 25775 for BA in Sociology. I am from general category so I didnt hot any scholarship otherwise scholarships are available to students of other categories. The college topper gets 100% scholarships at our college.

Campus Life

Montage our annual fest and then an event called Josh where all DU studnets are free to participate have some cash rewards as well. Our sports field is good and we also have some indoor sports as well. Gardens and canteens are the ones where I spend maximum time and they are probably the best places of our campus.

Admission

More than the college I missed out on the branch as I wanted to study economics hons but sadly I couldn't get that in the desired colleges like the LSR, SRCC or even JMC. However, I was content that college I need either of them and therefore I chose JMC as is is where I was getting admission.

Faculty

Faculties of our college has one currency and that is outstanding teaching. So when teaching is not just currency but a passion good things are bound to happen not just to them but students as well. So, if want to know how to deliver on all front, they should have some classes under our faculties as they will teach them this.

Night Life

Gym is there at our college but it's tiny and again cafeteria is good. However, it's the Shanti Niketan area which is close to our college is one where we see most outings. Our college doens't have a hostel so we all have to leave the campus by 5 pm.

END THE END BEST UNIVERSITY FOR STUDENTS

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course curriculum overall as 7/10 for relevance, and 6.5/10 for comprehensiveness. The curriculum included practical / lab / workshop components, which promised hands?on experience. That was a big factor for me. I felt that I wouldn’t just learn theory, but also get to apply it. It offered some electives or optional subjects, so there is some flexibility to explore interests outside the core. The syllabus was fairly up?to?date in many subjects: courses include contemporary topics (to some extent) and recent tools or methods. It also seemed designed to allow further academic pursuit: good coverage of fundamentals makes it possible to do postgraduate work.

Love and Hate relationship with my college

Placement Experience:

Placements are really average in our college. Students become eligible mostly from 3 rd year only but there are also placement opportunity for 1st and 2nd year as well but less than 3rd years. Hike edu, Kpmg they visited this year only. Kpmg came to hire only bcom and bcom h students. The highest average package offered till now is 600000. 10% students get the placement I think it's not about the college because they can only bring the companies the interview and gd round is upto the students they have to clear it by themselves. I want to work in banking sector I will be trying to clear banking exams.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college is not soo good but not soo bad . It's moderate placement . Last year highest package is 300000 per annum and lowest package is 100000 per annum. Many of companies visited in college placement.

The course curriculum is excellent, I get to learn all those courses that I like and find interesting. The syllabus provided is very detailed and structured and can be easily accessed from the university website. An honest guide to Mata Sundri College

Placement Experience:

My course does not allow direct placements right after graduation since a lot of students tend to pursue higher education, but the college does have a placement cell that brings in different opportunities like internships and placements. The average package is probably about 2.5 LPA with companies like Bajaj allianz but since it is an off campus college, this isn't bad either

Dyal Singh College is splendid!

Placement Experience:

Dyal Singh Placements aren't that hefty that I can boast a lot about them. Since I have already mentioned in previous section that I want the deepest knowledge of political science and the only way, one can gain that is by doing masters. Coming to DSC placements over 30% students of Political Science from our college are placed via campus.

Lady Shri Ram College certainly was the college I always wanted to be at but sadly couldn't get admission there. JMC: A LIVELY EXPERIENCE

To get into JMC, one needs to give CUET. After completing the exam, you need to make the preference sheet and if JMC is your 1st preference, then keep it at 1st. Cutoffs varies from course to course. If you have also applied for quotas, or have submitted other categories certificate then cutoffs for you could be less. JMC - The place to be

The admission process was fairly easy. The request desk was very prompt and sorted out issues quickly. The eligibility was the class 12th Board Result. The application form is twofold. First the basic Delhi university admission form and then there's a second form that has to be filled out on the college website. The application fee is minimal and the form opens along with the DU form. There is a reservation for Christian students who need to give an interview additionally.
