- Sometimes classes get canceled very last minute posing a challenge for studenta traveling from far to get to the class.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is something that can have improvements. For example I am studying C++ in my computer minor class which is becoming less and less relavent as compared to a lamguage like python. Alot of job prospects require students to know a language like R so I feel things like that should be taught so that the course cam make a student more real world ready.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fees depends on the course you get for example with my course the fee is 23500 aprox but with a course like B.EL.Ed the fee can go upto 32,200 approx. There are concessions for students coming from a family with lower income and financia hardship but it is totally situation based and students need to apply seperately for it.
Campus Life
There are alot of fests and events in the college it seems like there is something happening almost everyday. That is another way that the campus life is fantastic. There are alot of clubs u can join and each club hosts varios webinars and seminars and remains active. The library and its resources are very accessible and there is a wide range with the library spanning upto 3 floors
Admission
I got confirmed admission from colleges like Christ and Symbiosis School of economics. I chose this college as I felt that it would be a better course and would be closer to home. I got rejected from one or 2 colleges mostly due to personal interviews. I got nervous and couldn't answer to my best potential.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio depends alot on the course and class for example in my computer class the ratio is about 25:1 but for classes such as my VAC, SEC amd AEC it goes upto 150:1.overall the faculties are quite approachable and open to doubts. I have only had internal assesments till now and they have been fairly easy with chances of retests if you didn't perform
Night Life
I am not sure about night life as I am not a student in hostel or PG. But the best spots around campus are in Satya Niketan. There are alot of food places there where dtudent like to go eat. Alot of students also go shopping and it is quite easy given the colleges proximity to the metro station.
