- The insfrastructure is wide and beautiful filled with greenery. The college has a very homely feeling.
- Teachers are well educated and helpful, all the staff is very helpful.
- The availability within the campus is amazing. Photocopy, stationary, library everything is accessible and of good quality.
Dislikes
- Network within the college is not thay good.
- The canteen is adequate but it gets very crowded during breaks.
- During rain, the streets in front of college gets flooded.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is not thay well develooed for psychology but the faculty makes up for that with their qualification and knoweldge. For BA programme the curriculum for psychology is not enough for preparing for entrances thus extra prep is needed.
Internships Opportunities
Internshio are provided by the placement cell in the last semester. They offer stipends and offer good projects and tasks. Various small and big companies offer internship to the college. You can enroll in any internship you want.
Placement Experience
Placements starts in the last semester. Companies like deloitte, accenture takes place on the campus drive. The highest package for BA programme was of 6LPA. You can still sit for placements even if you want to pursue higher education.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yesr wise is 30,000. It's 15k per semester. There is no scholarships I am aware of because it's a government college, but financial rewards are provided to those who excel in academics. Merit based rewards and designatoon are also provided.
Campus Life
Lots of annual and society fests happen. The college life is very happening with festivals happening every week. Since there are lots of societies, they put their fund raisers which are good. There is sports competitions and inter college fests and competitions too.
Admission
JMC is not of the top college of DU for girls and is endowed with good infrastructure and quality of education. The admission process is according to DU only. Cut offs depends on CUET and the overall admission experience is smooth.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is adequate. They are approachable regarding curriculum and subject. Altho faculty can be strict with work. There are class test and oresentation according to the teacher and annual exams.
Night Life
The library and gym are good. There is no hostel provided by the college, students have to find nearby PGs. Since the college is off campus, the hangout places are at a little distance from the college.
