placement of a student depends on what kind of course he/she opted if someone opted courses like B.com, Economics hon., or BBA have a great chance of placement and getting excellent packages. I opted for History Hon. in this course placement chances are very low because most BA students opt their course because it helps them in preparing government exams like Civil services and PCS etc. students after the 5th semester are eligible for their college placements, the highest package of my college was 36.50 LPA and the average package is 10.50 LPA. JSW,HCL, KPMG, and AON were the top companies that visited last year around 30%of College courses offer placement I will prepare for the CSE exam after getting my degree.

Hindu college has decent placement background, and for my course as it is of humanities so there is not much scope for on campus placement but most of the people opt it for higher studies and for sutting in entrance exams like UPSC, SSC and so on. And the companies that visit the campus are from around the country and most candidates look up to them. There is also a general trend for internship.

The curriculum is well designed so that we can deeply engulf into Indian history and can attain more visions on our subject. The curriculum actually encourages me to continue higher studies in history by making it more interesting. At the same time, I think more emphasis should be made in modern history and world history.

I choose History (hons.) Because it's interesting and Facnating to know about history. Students who also opt for same are intelligent and knowledgeable compare to me but it's still you will learn more from the students compare to teacher. Teachers are very supported and knowledgeable and also gave best advice about career and about you. There teaching method is still very non- interesting but it's still ok. Exam are tough because we have to write 7-8 are pages per answer. It's sad that they see no. of pages not what we write.

The course curriculum is based on the NEP guidelines and we have to study 7 papers out of which 3 are core papers while one is a General Elective paper and the Other is VAC, SEC, and AECC. Faculty members of my course are well-qualified and one with a vast amount of experience in their fields. Exams are held on a semester basis and there is an internal assessment as well that includes class tests, assignments, and presentations along with Continuous Assessment i.e.- your participation and attentiveness in the lectures.
I love history so I took history hons. The faculty to student ratio is around 1:50. All the students don't come. So I kept the ratio like this. The qualifications of the faculty are great. All the Professors have done PhD and World History teacher did PhD from Foreign University. So the quality of the faculty is really good.
The faculty members are very well experienced, knowledgeable, and qualified. This course provides diverse opportunities in various fields such as teaching, civil services, research, and many more. But it still lacks in some aspects, as it does not fulfill many market demands.
