Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is based on the NEP guidelines and we have to study 7 papers out of which 3 are core papers while one is a General Elective paper and the Other is VAC, SEC, and AECC. Faculty members of my course are well-qualified and one with a vast amount of experience in their fields. Exams are held on a semester basis and there is an internal assessment as well that includes class tests, assignments, and presentations along with Continuous Assessment i.e.- your participation and attentiveness in the lectures.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Cost of study is not very high means the 22000 or 23000 fee per year is not that high compared to the private ones it is way too low. They will charge you an average of 25-30k per semester. There are government scholarships. It's the accommodation and other expenses you need to worry about when you come to Delhi. The PG and traveling costs are a bit on the higher side due to simply based on the principle of demand and supply.
Campus Life
The college has a very good library with a great volume of books available for students even my departments have a small library of their own. The college has 2 auditoriums, 2 canteens, and a large sports complex. There are various societies and clubs for students ensuring the holistic development of the students.
Admission
Admission is done through a central counseling system called CSAS based on the score obtained in CUET, eligibility criteria of the course, and college/course preference filled by the students. The DU is notified of the admission guidelines and dates via official notice and prospectus.
