We get admission in most of the college now through CUET exam which is held in May and based on your score in that exam and cutoff of colleges we get admission. My first preference was St.Stephan college but didn't got that it's cutoff was 698/800 while hindu college cutoff was 692/800 so I got Hindu college. Most prefered courses are BA Honors , Bcom that is why cutoff of these courses is high while science courses cutoff is less comparatively. In terms of colleges North Campus college such Stephan ,Hindu ,SRCC ,Hansraj ,Miranda have high cutoff as compared to South Campus colleges.

Admission:

I got into IIM Rohtak as well but i chose Hindu College over it because the fee for iim was really high and there were a lot of other compulsory charges that made it even more high, almost un-affordable. And the return on investment was not as good so i did not think it was value for money. Whereas, hindu college has a really minimal fee and a really amazing infrastructure, facilities, curriculum and faculty which made it more value for money for me. The admission process for IIM rohtak includes an aptitude test round, subjects in the test are quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning and english. Then the shortlisted students appear for an interview round after which final admissions are announced. For Hindu College, we have to appear for a written exam only which is CUET conducted by NTA. There is no other round.

Admission:

The admission is majorly based on CUET Exam after which preference list of colleges with respective course is made and then respective cut off is released. If we met the criteria of 1st preference, then we are alloted the same otherwise next, next or next onwards... Different quotas and reservation also help in getting admission. Wards and sports quota is also here, which really make the difference. I put SRCC, St. Stephen's over Hindu but my score was lower than those. But, genuinely sharing, quite happy and satisfy to get Hindu College as I got a great exploration here which I had wanted.
