I am currently studying Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) and that's my choice of studying, being a commerce student. The curriculum is properly elaborated, providing each and every detail. The exams took place in December- January and May- June i.e., twice a year.

I am a UPSC aspirant so I choose BA program of Hindu College because the course curriculum is relevant with the subjects that are useful in the UPSC exam. The faculty of the Hindu College is excellent, most of the faculty in Hindu College are PhD holders in their respective fields. The teaching method of the faculty in Hindu College is amazing, professors of the each subject have prepared reading booklets of their respective subjects for the students. Practicals and assignments were given to students on a regular basis, individual and group presentations are also conducted. Class tests are also conducted to measure the progress of the students on a regular basis. The term exams were conducted on time according to the date sheet released by the University of Delhi and the level of the exam is manageable, student can perform well in the term exams for attending all the lectures of the professors.

The course curriculum is a very decent one. No students will feel hectic after attending the class and the faculty members are friendly and helpful in all aspects whether you need help in anyway let it be academics or personal life.

BCom Honours was chosen by me because it is one of the most challenging and comprehensive course which offers good initial placements depending upon the college. Students gain multidisciplinary knowledge of various fields and are made ready for properly inculcating corporate culture. The faculty of Hindu College is specialized in their respective fields and teach children in creative and technical ways such as presentation and Case Studies. The term exams were held in December-January for Semester I, III and V studentsand have moderate difficulty. Theoretical subjects need comprehensive answers and often students face difficulty in completing the exams.

I had opted for bcom hons as i plan on opting for mba later in the future. I would have gone for business in management studies(BMS) or bachelor in business administration (BBA) but i wasn't eligible for the same as i didn't have mathematics as a subject in boards. Personally i would suggest to opt for BBA if MBA is your plan as it prepares you for it to some extent. As for my course, the teacher to student ratio isn't what i would expect from a highly respected institution. The ratio currently stands at 1:60. The basic qualification of my teachers is MCOM or PHD. The teaching method is honestly not what one expects in colleges and they definitely don't come close to what college life has been portrayed as in movies. The study here is monotonous. The pattern of term exams is somewhat illogical but coming to difficulty, one can atleast pass easily.

The faculty here is one of the best in the entire DU circuit. Teaching methods are very catchy. Term exams were a bit average. The student ratio of males and females is pretty decent. There are almost 40% of female students.
I choose this course to pursue my career as Charted Accountant. The teacher-to-student ratio is 1:30. All the faculties are well-qualified and very helpful to the students. Exams happen on the monthly basis.
I chose BCom Hons because I wanted to pursue a career in Finance. However, once you get into the college, you get to learn there are so many fields to explore such as Human Resources, Operations, Customer Service, Content Writing, Graphic Designing, etc. The faculty at Hindu is top-notch, the professors are well versed with their respective subjects and help clear up all the doubts, they are understandable and at times quite lenient too. Mostly all the professors in Kaizen (commerce department), have masters and Ph.D. in commerce. The teaching method is informative; taught through flashcards, presentations, etc. The term exams usually occur at the end of a semester (usually 4-6 months), and exams are of moderate level, you can pass them if you start studying one month before exams and just mug up 10 years.
They are pretty well on time and not that difficult to pass. With proper studies, one can easily score well. So, just focus on clearing your doubts and answering in the best manner. This will ensure a good score for you. Be regular with your assignment. faculties here are well qualified and helpful.
