Overall Hindu College and it's campus is very beautiful and it's located in the North campus of University of Delhi and Big positive impact is the exposure of college giving to the students there are somany students from different states are there
Societies in college provides good exposure to the students extra curricular activities and Events of Colleges are very High

Dislikes

Less maintenance of sports complex and Gym

In last year of my study the yearly fees of college increased while I take admission my yearly fee is 18000 and this is in 2 years after the fee hikes, and one thing is the fees are different for the each subjects and college is providing so many scholarship as well and the major one scholarship providing for the arts people is Rajeev Bhargava scholarship this gives a huge amount for our studies

Likes

I liked the Robust and active social life at Hindu. The diversity of people at the college adds to this and makes me want to come to college everyday
I liked the infrastructure, there are 2 canteens on campus. The corridors have nature light and are wide. Classrooms are aesthetically pleasing and each department has their own corner.

Dislikes

I disliked that not all classrooms have AC. Hopefully that will be worked upon soon.
I disliked the management of students during election. This was the first time in 3 years that the college had their elections. After covid. So students were over enthusiastic and college had many intruders.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Delhi University offers financial aid to meritorious and financially weak students, Some names are as follow, VK Rao Endowment grant. The Delhi University and College Karamchari Book grant. Vijendra Sharmila Chopra Memorial Scholarship, His Holiness the Pope scholarship. these are to name a few. The overall cost to study at HIndu and in my course would cost 27,000 Rupees per year. The fee hike was almost a 6,000 rupees due to the NEP introduced in 2020.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Fee Structure we can say is average means it is approx 16000per year. Scholarships are not so much for the political science department. If it is there (if any) for economically weaker sections it is negligible even did not cover the half of tuition fees.

A wholesome experience in every sense

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fee is quite reasonable and was around 13000 Rs which has only recently increased to 15000 . The college offers a lot many scholarships to Category Students and there are new scholarship opportunity coming up every once in a while. In short Super Affordable.

Which one is better for B.A (Hons.) in political science: Hindu College, University of Delhi, or St. Xavier's Kolkata?

While my brother was preparing a list of top colleges offering Political Hons, he never came across St. Xavier’s Kolkata while Delhi University and Hindu College specifically topped his list. This in itself proves Hindu College to be better than St. Xavier’s. Additionally, most of the teachers and seniors advised him to choose Hindu.

He was lucky enough to clear the cutoff and join the college. To date, he has no regrets about his decision. The best part of the institute is its superior location in Delhi. The crowd this college welcomes is another reason he was inclined towards it. The seniors are very cooperative and ragging is not tolerated.

The faculty pool comprises professors from top national and international universities. Most of the students pursuing political science either target Civil services or are inclined toward international relations and other political issues. While many may find flaws here because it’s a government college, trust me in the long run it’s your efforts and talents that matter. A college can only provide for you; it is you who has to make the most out of it.
