1. The room provides accommodation for two students , It is well furnished And has open and less green surroundings 2. Meal is very good and have different menu every day gives four times meal breakfast, lunch ,snacks and dinner. 3. Application form is provided by the hostel management and it is to be submitted offline and then students are selected accordingly to the colleges and their marks in the admission test. 4. I have opted for the government hostel and have very good environment with the Beautiful garden and non polluted environment Very good environment for the students.
College provides a hostel for boys and girls. Boys hostel have price range 6000 and girls have 12000 Both hostel's foods are not bad or not too good.it's ok ok Facilities are enough for a student Boys hostel admission according to your mark and there are only 4 seats for one department. There are so many pgs and rooms for rent are available near to college Pgs provide food For rooms, you want to cook or you can choose tiffin services
The hostel is semi private and had very good infrastructure. Every room is equipped with air conditioning, the hostel has lift, badminton court, and common rooms on every floor. The food is also decent with snacks and food being served from 3-4 times a day. The hostel corridors and washrooms are quite neat and tidy.
The College has both Girl's and Boy's hostel. I can share my experience being in Boys hostel. Food is extremely good and you can't get to eat such food in any PG. The hostel has its own functions including fresher party, farewell, social night, etc. The hostel has 1 seat per 20 students of a particular course. It has reservation for SC/ST categories. The rooms are shared by 2 students. Since the hostel has few seats (more than any other college of DU), most of the students reside in PG. Avg rental is around 10000.
Hostal rooms are good, two members are sharing rooms and food and infrastructure also good. They providing wifi and other facilities like sports equipment, library, entertainment rooms etc. and 64500 is annual hostal fee
Getting the college hostel is hard because of the limited intakes but getting a pg is fine and there are wide options for the students starting from a mere 5 thousand to 25 or even 30 k per month are there.
No, I am a delhiite but I visited the boys hostel many times. Rooms are cleaned and are on sharing basis with 2 beds. Mess food is tasty and healthy. Only problem is the seats are very limited. So, If you missed out college hostel then there are so many PGs and flats are available in campus area. So, according to your convenience you can opt any of these.
No, I am a Delhite and for that reason we were not allowed to attain the hostel facilities. I agree that outstation children need hostel facilities but students like us who had to travel for over than 2 hours also desired those facilities. Also as per my hostel friends, girls hostel were well maintained as compared to boys hostel. Hostel facilities are provided to outstation children and that too on the basis of marks & percentages attained by them in class 12th.
Hostels are very good but have very less seats. For a college of 4000, hostel seats are around 400. So most of the students find accommodations in PGs in nearby areas. While hostel charges are around 4500 per month, expenses of a decent PG room based on double sharing can go upto 7000.
The girl's hostel of our college is recently built and known as the most modern hostels of the university. It is highly equipped and provides high quality service. The hostel itself chooses students out of the ones who have applied for living there according to their 12th boards initially and then annual results and performance in college which makes it different for everyone to get permission to stay in the hostel. Delhi's North Campus is filled with various pg and rental flat options and people with small to big budget can afford them and the facilities vary as per the monthly rent.
