Delhi University has opened applications for Ph.D. admission for A.Y. 2024-25. Admission to Ph.D. programs will be based on NET scores.
The University of Delhi has released the admission schedule and eligibility for admission to Ph.D. programs for A.Y. 2024-25. The university will take admissions based on UGC NET scores. Scores of the NET examination held in December 2023 and June 2024 will be considered for admission to the Ph.D. academic session 2024-25.

Delhi University Ph.D. 2024-25 Admission Criteria
Candidates can take admission to Ph.D. through NET score in three categories.

Delhi University Ph.D. 2024-25 Eligibility Criteria
- Non-JRF candidates with valid NET scores, 70% weightage of test scores, and 30% weightage of the interview will be considered for admission.
- Non-JRF candidates are eligible for one year of admission to Ph.D. programs.
- Candidates have to appear for the interview on a mandatory basis.
- Candidates have to mandatorily submit the research proposal at the time of registration.
The University of Delhi offers Ph.D. programs under the Faculties of Arts, Applied Social Sciences & Humanities, Education, Interdisciplinary & Applied Sciences, Music, Commerce & Business Studies, Mathematical Sciences, Sciences, Law, Social Sciences, and others.
Candidates have to apply for admission to the Ph.D. programme online on the university’s portal. Candidates have to keep track of the university website for updates regarding Ph.D. courses and merit results.
