The fee structure of my college ranges from 17000-19000.it is quite affordable as compared to private colleges. Job on campus is not much in the college as there are many opportunities present in the college.
College fees are 20 thousand per year for three years total fees are 60 thousand. If you belong to Delhi there are many scholarships available but if you're out of station student then you can apply for National Scholarship and Inspire scholarship.
The fee is the main issue I am facing during my college life. College fee is high even though college and government may provide scholarship and student aid fund. But everyone may not get those. Post metric scholarship by NSP is the main scholarship to which students can apply.
As my college comes under Delhi University which is a complete government college so the fees are very less than is 20460 rs per year which means 1775 rs approx per month which a student can easily manage. The PG here in the north campus has very less rent is around 5000 per bed and Scholarship is provided by the college there is various scholarship program where you get 1000/month by Delhi University which is easily approachable by students. It's my first year or you can say first sem but I got an unpaid internship in a startup so there are various opportunities provided by Delhi University.
Inspire scholarship on the basis of high school marks is the one scholarship that I availed as I was in the top 1% in the CBSE Board. the procedure was simple. We had to fill a form and get it attested from our administration and attach our fee receipts in order to avail it. We got it after two months or so on the basis of our merits.
Every year the UGC updates the syllabus according it's relevance. Syllabus is precise and caters to the needs outside India as well. Faculties are really good in most of the departments. Teachers know how to develop among students.
I got Central Sector Scholarship from Ministry of HRD. This is for the students who have secured more than 85% in class 12th (top 10%ile of country). This amounts to 10000 rupees per annum. For availing this we need to apply on national Scholarship portal.
Student Aid scholarship is One thing that provides a reduction in College Fee. We will get back 3000 Rupees as Student aid fund. Other Scholorsgips are also there for Toppers of various departments of College and Aid to Financially backward students
