- Some incidents of fights and miss behaviour by the students occur in the college but these are some rare incidents.
- Sometimes the classes got cancelled on a short notice but these are also some rare cases.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am a UPSC aspirant so I choose BA program of Hindu College because the course curriculum is relevant with the subjects that are useful in the UPSC exam. The faculty of the Hindu College is excellent, most of the faculty in Hindu College are PhD holders in their respective fields. The teaching method of the faculty in Hindu College is amazing, professors of the each subject have prepared reading booklets of their respective subjects for the students. Practicals and assignments were given to students on a regular basis, individual and group presentations are also conducted. Class tests are also conducted to measure the progress of the students on a regular basis. The term exams were conducted on time according to the date sheet released by the University of Delhi and the level of the exam is manageable, student can perform well in the term exams for attending all the lectures of the professors.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are also available in our college but I haven't done any internship yet so I don't have the experience regarding that. Job and internship fairs are also conducted in the college in which many students get internships in the college itself. Internship experience of our college is also good.
Placement Experience
The courses like b.com honours, eco honours, and stats honours are the courses which get the top notch placements. Other courses get placements too but not that much high. The highest package of Hindu College in 2023 is 36.5 lakhs per annum. The average package of the Hindu College in 2023 is 10 to 11 lakhs per annum. Top recruiters like Accenture, HCL, KPMG visits the campus and made offers to students. The placement percentage of our college is very good.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fees of my course is 25300 per year which is affordable. I am in the first year contently and I haven't encountered any free Hike policy yet so I don't have the information regarding that. The complete cost of my education will be around 100000 rupees which is very affordable and there are not any service charges which are applicable in our college. Aur college provide internship opportunities for the students but I haven't done any internship yet so I don't have the experience regarding that.
Campus Life
The campus and social life at Hindu College is one of the best in India. My college has a number of societies which are very active and day to day life. The society is conductor number of events on regular basis in which guest speakers and famous personalities are invited and there is a lot for a student to learn and develop by involving in these events of the societies. The infrastructure of our college is very beautiful. My college has a three floor library with lots of books, 2 AC auditoriums, a seminar room, a conference hall, sports complex with the gym for the students of the college, sports sound of the college is very huge with a basketball court, cricket pitch, and Soccer nets. All the classrooms in our college have projectors installed for the students. The extra curricular activities of a college are very good.
Admission
Hindu College is considered the best arts college in India. For admission in Hindu college you have to give the CUET entrance exam. After that you have to apply on the CSAS portal of Delhi University for counselling. You have to fill the preference list for colleges on the CSAS portal of Delhi University, then you will get the college according to your score in the CUET exam. You don't have to give any group discussion or personal interview for admission in the Hindu College. A student must secure at least 730+ out of 800 in the CUET exam for admission in any of the course in Hindu College. I am from OBC category and my score was 750 out of 800. You have to choose the three domains and one language subject combination in CUET exam. That is all for the admission process in Hind College.
