Course Curriculum Overview

4

There are various courses and studying them in such a prestigious college is the best thing. But some changes that need to be applied are the inclusion of the application side which is still lacking in various courses. Teachers should also focus on practical applications after theory classes which will help students understand the concept more deeply.

Internships Opportunities

5

All The internship opportunities are provided by Abhyaas Society. it offers various internships like Apprentissage internships, year-round internships, summer internships, zomato internships and various internships in it skills and corporate sector.

Placement Experience

5

our college provides good placement opportunities. There is a society in college named placement cell that calls companies to hire students for their company. The average package of our college is about Rs 6,00,000. I would like to go for a government job rather than a placement from college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee for 1st year of BSc Hons courses like, (Mathematics, physics, chemistry, zoology, and statistics) is approx Rs 27,800. For B.Com Hons is Rs 27,000. and for BA Courses it is Rs 26,500. The average fee for all three years of bachelor courses is approx Rs 80,610. Hindu College also offers master's courses in science and arts. Their fee is for two years Rs 51,800. It has increased consistently since 2012. It was about Rs 12,000 in the year 2012 and increasing year by year. Hindu College also provides various scholarships like the Raj Bhargava Foundation Scholarship of Rs 75,000 per annum to UG students of Arts students. There is also a scholarship for scheduled caste and tribe students. Old Students Association study grants offers over Rs 20,000 to the students with family income below rs 5,00,000 each year of course duration. various scholarships are the Saroj Bala Malik Scholarship for third-year students, the Amit Prasad Memorial Scholarship for BA Hone Economics students, and the Deepak Singh Memorial Scholarship for MA Hindi students with an amount of Rs 15000, 12000, and 10,000 respectively. The scholarship fees may vary annually.

Campus Life

5

Various societies in our college provide social awareness to students namely Abhyaas, Placement Cell, Sc-St Cell, Buniyaad, etc. There are vide range of books available in the library along with various articles.

Admission

I choose this college because of its best infrastructure and its prestige all over India. Completing courses from this college is itself a matter of respect in society and this college also provides good placement opportunities.

Faculty

4

There are a lot of teachers who are available at all times. Their knowledge level is at a high level and never hesitate to solve our doubts. The end semester exam is of a total of 160 marks of which 90 are written and 70 marks are internal and may vary depending upon the marking scheme of various courses.

Night Life

5

The college itself is a complete hangout place for students there is a gym for gym rats and anyone can go there for exercise. There are also beautiful places around the college for hangouts and various food courts.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is too good. As my course is life sciences so instead of learning about only one core subject like in botany hons and zoology hons course, we get chance to learn about zoology, botany and chemistry simultaneously. That Also unlock a large no. of opportunities for my future. Acc to me the ratio of practical lab and theory classes should be increased like we only get 1 lab for one core subjects in a week so I think this no. Should be increased so that we can get more practical knowledge. The difficulty level of exams are too much High like it seems we're hons course students that should be decreased.

Campus placements are for commerce background mostly, usually in 3rd year you might see some placements. I don't know exactly about thr company who visited because I wasn't enrolled in that particular course. Campus placements percentage is very low to be honest . 10-20% mostly. I'll pursue masters.
