Remarks

This is the best in our college. No improvement in my college. All management is good and sporting. I am so lucky there is college due to COVID, we are having online classes. Most of the students from my stream are interested. In further studies and are preparing for civil service.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty members are very well experienced, knowledgeable, and qualified. This course provides diverse opportunities in various fields such as teaching, civil services, research, and many more. But it still lacks in some aspects, as it does not fulfill many market demands.

Class Size: 3362Course Fees: INR 17000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Since this college is of the University of Delhi the fee is nominal that is 17000 for history Hons. For semester exam you have to play differently. Since a belong to pure history subject so I don't have any placement. Society in the college name physician but it is not much famous as the societies of North campus.

Campus Life

Life at Hindu college is absolutely brilliant. The kind of environment you get to spend three years will be the best year of your life. Personally, the friends I met in n college turned out to be life savers. As far as academics is concerned, it depends on which department you get into.i will discuss in canteen area like Facebook, Twitter.

the curriculum is decided by delhi university, economics wing and is followed by all the colleges of du, although few topic are often irrevelent which teachers tend to skip. i do feel that curriculum is pretty old and they should introduce new topic which are more related to reak=l world and give us real life experience not just bookish knowledge which is irelevent. they should also ask for students input related to their curriculum, teachers sometimes tedn to just do book reading. internal exmas are taken frequently and difficulty is 3 out of 5

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a good course. I went for it mainly because I am preparing for UPSC CSE (pretty common around here). In that context the course is helpful, and also for those aiming to enter research, academia, museology, archaeology etc. However there are not many placement opportunities and for most it would be better to pursue masters later on. Teaching methods are inclusive, both english and hindi medium students can comfortably study. However both students and faculties have some complaints regarding the curriculum changes under NEP such as the sequence of courses in each sem.

Placements is for 3rd year students. Many good companies visit our campus like bajaj capital, oberoi group. Highest package is around 22 lakhs. We have a lot of internship and placement opportunities come in for students.

Honest review of Pros and Cons of DCAC

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is done in the 3rd year. The highest PPO given is 24,00,000 to auditing and taxation departments. Average package is about ?15,00,000 to ?18,00,000. Companies like Eay, KPMG and more visit our college for placement. Most students under the commerce department get offered internships. Other than this, the placement cell also actively keeps sending internship opportunities for students to enhance their profiles. I am an English honours student l, thus there is no placement option for me directly unless I take up options from the P-Cell. I have already interned at EY India, Gurgaon, as a forensics and risk management specialist( throigh personal referral).My knowledge (attained from DCAC) of research, report and article writing were used adequately.

Generally, after BA no one is placed and even if we apply for a job we don't get a good package. So, students generally go for masters or some other courses through which they can get placements. Talking of college placement and internship cell we don't have very good facilities as very limited companies are there for recruiting students. Many students don't even get the internship. This is a major negative point of college.

My course is English Honours and minimum eligibility for this course is 1 language and any 3 domains in CUET exam according to NEP. Application forms will be provided on NTA Official website and application fees is different for different categories. Also some relaxations for SC St PWD candidates.
