The Placement Cell at Hansraj College works actively throughout the year to connect students with recruiters. The placement process follows a simple and structured approach as follows:
-
Connecting with Companies
Recruiters usually reach out to the Placement Cell either through the official email or by contacting the student coordinators directly. Once a company shows interest, the Cell shares a Job Description Form (JDF) to collect all the necessary details. This helps students get a clear understanding of the role and prepare accordingly. -
Classifying Recruiters
Companies are grouped into three tiers, based on the CTC they offer. This classification is purely for smooth coordination and does not influence the fairness of the recruitment process in any way. -
Assigning a Coordinator
Each company is assigned a student coordinator who acts as the main point of contact. This coordinator manages everything, from pre-placement talks and CV shortlisting to aptitude tests, group discussions, and interviews, ensuring that communication remains seamless at every step. -
Handling Offers
Once the selection rounds are completed, the Cell coordinates with students to confirm their acceptances. After that, the final joining details are worked out directly between the student and the employer, while the Cell maintains proper records of all placements.
