Upon successful registration, the candidate must login to his/her dashboard to complete the CSAS UG/PG application form by entering details such as personal information, contact details, and uploading of documents.
Step 2: Program Selection and Preference Filling
For seat allocation and admission to the desired program, candidates must fill in the combination of program and department/college/center preferences on the CSAS dashboard.
- Candidates must select the UG/PG Programs in which he/she has appeared in the CUET examination and is willing to take admission if allocated through CSAS.
- Candidates must note that only programs selected during preference filling will be considered for seat allocation.
- The candidate must take utmost care while giving the preferences order as it will determine the allocation of seat.
- Candidates can reorder the preferences of the selected combinations, if he/she wishes to, before submitting the fees for that particular Program.
- Candidates must fill in the maximum number of preferences to increase their chances of getting a seat.
- Before submitting, the candidate must ensure that the order of preferences is as per his/her choice. Editing of the preference list after the submission of the form will NOT be allowed.
Step 3: Seat Allocation and Admission
The seat allocation for all courses will be done in multiple rounds. Delhi University will be releasing merit lists in two categories: Common Merit List and Category 2 Merit List (for PG courses only). All candidates will be considered in the Common Merit List (CML). However, for the Category 2 Merit List (C2ML) only students who have graduated from Delhi University will be considered for admission to PG programs based on merit in the qualifying examination. The Highest Possible Preference will be provisionally allocated to a candidate considering the following criteria:
- Program-based merit list.
- Social Category (UR/OBC-NCL/SC/ST/EWS).
- Availability of seats
Upon declaration of merit list, candidates can check the list by logging into their CSAS dashboard for acceptance of the allocated seat, if offered. Once a seat has been allocated in a particular round, the candidate must 'Accept' the Allocated Seat before the last date/time specified for the given allocation round. The provision for acceptance of a particular Allocated Seat will be valid only for the round in which the seat was allocated to the candidate. In case of multiple seat allotment in a particular round, candidates will be allowed to “Accept” and take admission in ONLY ONE allocated seat.
- Once the candidate "Accepts" the provisionally Allocated Seat, the concerned Department/ Centre/ College will approve the seat allotment by checking the eligibility and documents uploaded by the candidate.
- Upon approval of the seat allotment by the concerned Department/ Centre/ College, candidates will have to pay the admission fee to confirm the admission.
