Faculties - very supportive and helpful. the way each faculty teaches the students was v much better than expected.
The fee structure is low enough to ensure inclusivity, and provide quality education to everyone. on top of that scholarships are also provided based on merit and socioeconomic criterias to further aid the students in financial and monetary aspects.
Eligibility for the course was good marks in class 12th and the student must've studied commerce in class 12th you can find application forms on the du official website.

Dislikes

Placement is also not very good but the Return on investment is good
Management is also not good like sometimes we don't know to select course or how to give back exams.
no shops nearby college and is at an isolated place from market

Likes

The most favourite yhing of this college is canteen
The garden for vibing and playing games.
The teachers are also very good in this college

The most irritating thing in this college is their Classroom

I chooses commerce stream in my 11th standard so I just choosed B.com and its good. I Dont want to become a CA because it takes lots ot work and efforts and its also not confirmed that you will clear the exams so I just choose to persuing bcom

My college my life

Likes

Pretty big college with educated teachers
Student are also educated and there behavior are also good
Some of the students are treasure of skills

Dislikes

Some time there are much more crowd and noises come from outside
Some of the students have extreme attitude of money

DCAC : ACCORDING TO A 1ST YEAR

Likes

playground is not so big but people are usually there to play a sport so its good
crowd is really nice seniors as well as classmates are really polite and helpful
teachers are really learned and do ask if we have any queries

Dislikes

no proper parking area for students to park their vehicles
campus is really small as well as far away from metro station
no shops nearby college and is at an isolated place from market

Placement Experience:

i really dont know about the placements as i am a 2nd yearstudent only there were few internships but i dont know about the placements from my experiance but i have heard from seniors that the pakage is neither so bad nor so good according to the course we are persuing and as an under graduate course it pays fairly

Likes

Faculties - very supportive and helpful. The way each faculty teaches the students was v much better than expected.
Crowd- I liked the crowd on the very first day I visited my college that made me very much comfortable.
Campus- the campus is also more than average.

Dislikes

Cleanliness- there is not appropriate cleanliness
Canteen- the canteen food is not upto the mark on basis of hygeine.
No smart teaching - none of the teachers uses smartboards and projectors.

Placement Experience:

There are many placements after the third year or in the third year in the college whose avg package runs around 6 lpa to 7 lpa and internships fair are also conducted regularly every year to provide internships to the students. The companies visit the campus and organise the fair to provide students with placements and internships.

Likes

The teachers are very nice and kind for the students.
The teacher always have kind nature towards the students
Administration is very good and the atmosphere of the college is also very nice and good.

Dislikes

The infrastructure is not that good it can be better.
Facilities should be more better like toilets and water tanks in the college.

I choose b.com because it i have to run my business and in b.con you get all the maximum knowledge related to businesses and it surely helps you in the future this course is perfect if you have business type of mindset.

Underrated college

Likes

The crowd quality is above average, you will find people from every region here
The faculty is the best part about the college
The placements here are average but most of the students get a decent placement

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not upto the expectations of any student
Societies in the college can be very toxic

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent in DCAC. Students from 4th semester are eligible to sit for placements. Most of the big4 comes to our college to recruit freshers and other big companies too such as Bechtel, byjus, etc.

Nice atmosphere and great staff of teachers and the fuctions inlcuding fest and cultureal fuctions.

Dislikes

Nothing specific but i guess teachers should focus more on students

The course is very good and i think i would be proud after passing out from delhi University and i would recommend this to other also and learnings of the course is on the point and you will find them relevant in real life

Review of Delhi College of arts and commerce

Likes

The professor are educated and try to explain things to the students as effectively as possible
The faculty is great they help you out Whenever you need it
College societies are a big part of Delhi University culture and it’s really great you get to learn new things get the feel of responsibility

Dislikes

Bad infrastructure the college is really small
Kind of remote even tho everything is near the college 1-2 station from metro nearby there are no other colleges or anything by foot like main campuses south and north atmosphere
Only some societies are Decent others aren’t even active

Placement Experience:

There is a Placement cell in the delhi college of arts and commerce named broadway it does provide placements even helps in internships people can usually get an average package between 4-5 lakhs per anum. My plan is to start venture of my own do I won't be sitting for the placements

I like that crowd of my college that is pretty decent and acceptable
I also like the faculty and teachers they are really polite and educating
I have got a really good for your life as my college is in the south campus that is the post area of Delhi

Dislikes

I didn't like that campus infrastructure that is really short small and work
The colleges small so there are no big fest happening
There are many limitation of our size of college that hinders manifest events and other things

Placement Experience:

All the students have a goal besides this degree they are either preparing for CA CMA CFA UPSC law or any other professional course in summer even interested in digital creation. There are several offers made by the companies who come in our college to provide placements. The highest package in our college was 9 lacs per annum and average it goes from 5 to 6 lakhs per annum. There are not a lot of students getting place but some are get placed. My plans after completing the degree is to join other professional degree and then pursue my internships and if I get a placement I will work for that.

DU B. Com life and curriculum

Likes

The crowd in the colleges is pretty good, mostly students have good intellect.
The college connectivity, all DU colleges are somewhat connected with eachother and so you can easily participate in functions held in other colleges too.
College socities play an important role in college life as they are the major extracurriculars you would be focusing on.

Dislikes

New issue of attendance, currently DU is planning to get compulsory 67% for examination, it is one of the major drawbacks
Lack of infrastructure, the colleges have only required infrastructure and it is not so High Class
Influence of students politics is one of the thing DU has, but it doesn't affect you in day-to-day life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Com is one of the most demanded course in Delhi University the the course lacks practical knowledge but the society in the college full fils the part and provides enough exposure. However, after NEP multiple electives and high weightage to continuous assessment has helped in holistic development.

Here is a brief review of the Delhi College of Arts and Commerce.

It has a good infrastructure. The library is fully automated. There are over 56538 books. You will also have access to e-resources.
The sports facilities offered are quite good. There are well-maintained and specious sports courts for Basket Ball, Volleyball, Football, etc.
The faculty at DCAC is quite good. They are well-qualified and have years of experience in teaching.
BROADWAY is the placement cell of DCAC. It works with the aim of establishing a good institute and industry interface. Students of the institute have been placed in major companies like E&Y, L&T, ICICI Prudential, Genpact, etc.
There are many prestigious student development societies like ENACTUS DCAC, VYAPAAR, LEHAR, Clicks - the photography club.
The annual feast of the institute is known as AMBROSIA.
