Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

B.com Hons. in general is a very basic course for a commerce student and I'm satisfied with it as of now. Areas for improvement can be the addition of more practical subjects, this can enhance the knowledge and can help in the placements too.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Recently we had an offline internship fair, in which roughly 50 companies were there offering numerous profiles, such as data management, accounts management, digital marketing, etc. Some were providing stipend and others were unpaid. Overall the stipend was decent based on the profile.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements are decent in DCAC. Students from 4th semester are eligible to sit for placements. Most of the big4 comes to our college to recruit freshers and other big companies too such as Bechtel, byjus, etc.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

DU itself is very cheap, my fees was around 8.8k from 2021. Even after NEP was launched I got to know that there was a nominal increase in price and their fees for the same course is roughly around and under 10k

Campus Life

3.5

Social life is pretty average in DCAC. I was involved in two societies, namely enactus and vangati. Left enactus because of too much burden of work from societies. Societies can be fun when the event time comes around.

Admission

I got admitted before the CUET was introduced, so for us it was pretty simple. All the forms and related information was available on du.ac.in Our cutoff was based on our 12th marksheet and everyone was admitted on the basis of that only

Faculty

5

The faculty of the college is amazing, the teachers are qualified and the best in their field. Teachers are very helpful and understanding in many things regarding attendance, etc and are easily approachable

Remarks:

College is good if you are really participating in society and getting exposure to events and develping skills. If you just want to study and get a degree you may get disappointed at the end semester where you would find other colleagueous having fun and they were actively participating in many events and were recognised by some awards and trophy.

Remarks:

The college on an overall is extremely amazing however the college does need to work a little on the infrastructure there are a lot of students and less space there always has been space crunch in the college premises and I also feel gargi should have an hostel of its own to provide accommodation to students who really cannot afford PGs because even if students who come from all across India to study in DU because of its subsidised education it really isn't a practical idea if they do not get subsidised accommodation at the same time.

Positive is friendly relationship between teacher n seniors. Auditorium, cricket pitch, canteen, teacher, nearby stalls with lipsmacking food and Negative is there is some students who just come to make unnecessary noise n fights.
