- The events that they conducted during the welcome week were very fun and got to learn a lot about the university.
- The club Devil Data Science, the club helped me gain even more skills, and they have a very good vibe here so you can literally ask anything and they will help you no matter what
- ASU has a football team and a big stadium, the stadium is really pretty as the airport is nearby and flights literally pass above the stadium and it’s a very awesome thing to experience. And also became a fan of football after coming to ASU

- The classes are really far apart so there is a lot of walking that you have to do and it’s a bit difficult because of the heat.
- Some events like career fairs and resource fairs have limited entries and though you register before you sometimes don’t get an opportunity.
- Change of class or schedule is not that flexible.

Arizona State University - Admitted - I joined this college as it had a professor who had done his research work same as my undergrad project which is what made me come here. I applied at the end of Feb and got my admit on April 3rd. After coming here the heat was a major issue but it’s really surprising how you get easily habituated to it. And coming here I become a major football fan and I am very happy about it.
- Several documents were also required to complete the admission process. Official transcripts, Letters of Recommendation (LORs), a Statement of Purpose (SOP), and a Curriculum Vitae (CV) were needed among other things.
- The transcripts highlight academic achievements while SOP allows applicants to express their motivations and goals. On the other hand, LORs give an insight into an applicant's abilities and character while a CV showcases relevant work and academic experience.
- There was no interview as part of my application process. ASU did not require a formal interview and thus relied on the submitted documents for making admissions decisions regarding students who apply to it one can say this has made it easier by focusing only on academic merit without having an additional step involving personal interviews.

- The eligibility criteria are IELTS 6.5 and Duolingo 105 but the good thing is that GRE is waived.

- Arizona State University has four campuses. Tempe is the main and largest campus. Then there’s the Polytechnic campus located in Mesa, the Downtown campus in Phoenix, and the West Valley campus.
- The Hayden Library at Tempe is the biggest and one of the best. There are two gyms on the Tempe campus and a health services centre on each campus. You can easily book appointments online.
- Campus events happen every week — often with free food and beverages. There are also festivals and concerts featuring popular artists. Last time, Steve Aoki performed!

- Talking about the breakdown of the fee structure is a bit wonky, but I will try explaining it here.
- First is the Tuition GR International fees for about $14,445
- Program Tui GR Polytechnic School for $450
- Student Health insurance $1045
- International student fee: $200
- Student Initiated fees $373
- Graduate academic support fee: $140
- Total $16653
- Regarding the rent, I live off campus, paying $350-400$ for rent and utilities altogether.

- Safety at Night: The urban campuses can have some safety concerns at night, students are advised to be very aware of their surroundings.

- ASU has multiple campuses, but most MS CS students are based at the Tempe campus. It has everything: huge libraries, great sports facilities, gyms, and student health centers.
- There are tonnes of clubs and events, like Homecoming, Hackathons, and cultural fests. You’ll find all kinds of student orgs, coding, dance, photography, and sports. It’s super active and there’s always something happening on campus.
Fees
- It cost me around $69000, which included a tuition fee of about $37000 and the rest of it was living expenses. Fees are charged for each credit and we need to pay them each semester.
- My monthly expenses used to be: rent - $500, food - $250, miscelleanous - $1000 to $2000. The actual monthly expenses would largely depend on the individual's personal choices as well.

- It is a very peaceful place to study.
- I feel safe because the public transport is clean and frequent. It is free to public as well. It makes my commute very easy.
- I love the facilities provided by the university especially technology lending options from the university library, free cab services at dedicated slots at night.
Dislikes
- I have heard that there are many grocery stores around my friend’s place who stay in the US. This is what lacks here. There are only 2 Indian grocery stores and are quite far from each other.

- There are so many clubs and the university hosts multiple events around the year.
- From networking events to fun activities to photo booths to career fairs, one can expect these all year round.
- There are events specifically for international students as well.

- The total fee is around 62K USD which is approximately 53 lakhs INR. It is around 18K USD per semester.

- ASU has 3-4 campuses in total; all are nearby and have a shuttle from tempe campus daily. Good library, sports and medical facilities. My campus is Tempe, with many fests in the college and many Indian clubs to join and enjoy. Many Indian clubs are formed; almost each and every week has some event to participate in.

- There are 6 campuses of ASU, more than 200-250 clubs, and ASU has all the extracurricular activity possible with one of the best research facilities with too much funding, brilliant libraries and is great with sports as well.

- My college has 4 campuses. My college has 7 libraries sports and wellness, sundevil welcome, infernofest, involvement fairs, devils advocate, changemaker central, empowered. Community service,leadership programs,arts and culture, sports club College is located in middle od arizona state. Library is very huge and has a variety of books.

- The heat during the summers is very bad, Arizona has one of the highest temperatures during the summers.
- ASU caters to a huge Indian crowd which is why it might get a bit competitive in some places.
- One of the issue is extra or enough seats available for popular subjects.

- Arizona State University has multiple campuses; the Tempe campus is the main one. The facilities include two big libraries, namely Hayden and Noble. ASU also hosts big events like Homecoming and many sports events like the football and basketball games. All ASU students have free tickets to these games.
- My campus was the Tempe campus but I had some courses in the Polytechnic campus as well. Arizona State University provides free shuttle services to all of its campuses so it was hassle-free travel for me. Additionally, ASU conducts intramural matches for all kinds of sports, such as pickleball, basketball, badminton, etc. It is balanced with all the technical stuff as well, such as hackathons and many conferences as well.

- There are four campuses of ASU: the main campus at Tempe, West campus (Phoenix), Polytechnic campus (Mesa), and Downtown Phoenix campus. The main campus at Tempe offers a large library, sports complex, and medical facilities.
- Major events include ASU Fall Festival, Sun Devil Stadium games, and Devilpalooza. Events include sports (basketball, football) and cultural events such as Diwali and Holi. There are numerous student organizations focused on academics, technology, and social issues.

30,000 USD for the tuition, 12000 for hostel and the others contribute to Insurance and health. - In the first 3 semesters they charge around 13000 USD and the last semester it is 7700.
- Monthly expenses are around 500 which includes the accommodation, food, electricity and other utilities.
- The transportation is free and there is bus facility.
