FINCAD Women in Finance Scholarship is designed for female students who wish to pursue their postgraduate studies at recognized universities around the world.

It includes universities in Australia, the USA, UK, Canada, Netherlands and many more.

  • PG program should emphasis on finance, particularly to the use of derivatives in capital markets and/or financial risk management.
  • External applications must be submitted by the students.
    • The application date will be announced soon.
  • Students must be enrolled as full-time students at their chosen institution.
  • Recipients will be awarded 20,000 USD.

The selection of the recipients of FINCAD Women in Finance Scholarship is based on scholarship application and documents submitted such as academic transcripts, reference letters, CV, etc.

The application period for 2024 will open in the Spring.

Eligibility Criteria

To secure FINCAD Women in Finance Scholarship, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria listed below:

  • The applicant must be a female student.
  • Must enroll in one of the recognized universities in the UK, Germany, USA, Australia, etc
  • Must pursue a PG program :
    • emphasis on finance, particularly relating to the use of derivatives in capital markets and/or financial risk management.

Application Process

Candidates for FINCAD Women in Finance Scholarship must apply online on the official website of FINCAD.

  • Create a user name and password. Remember the user name and password.
    • It will enable to edit and save your application before finally submitting it.
  • Complete all the details asked in the form.
  • Submit the required documents.
  • The system will provide immediate confirmation that you have submitted the application.

Student Supporting Documents

  • Academic Transcripts with certified translations.
  • Confirmation of acceptance or enrollment in the PG program.
  • 2 LOR
  • Any authored papers (optional)

Instructions for the Documents: Attach all the documents in the prescribed file format (jpg, pdf or gif) with the prescribed naming convention: {family name}{given name}{document name}.{file extension}

The complete applications must be submitted before the deadline (Note: Maximum file size is 20 MB). FINCAD is yet to make an announcement regarding the application date. Do not submit more than one application.


Selection Process

The selection is based on the scholarship application and supporting documents submitted to FINCAD.


Grant Details

Female students who wish to study abroad or in their home country with some financial help may apply for FINCAD Women in Finance Scholarship.

They must pursue a PG program that focuses on financial risk management from any of the top Universities in the USA, UK, Germany, Australia, Canada, etc.

Recipients will be awarded 20, 000 USD to be used for educational purposes.
