    • As a GRA, I never got a lot of time to take part in all these activities; I'm probably not the best person to comment.

    Fees

    • I remember back in 2021 it was 18 lakhs INR per semester; I'm not sure anymore.

    • HEC has two campuses, one in Paris, France. another in Doha, Qatar, which can be helpful if you are looking for roles in middle east as they have a huge network there.
    • It has a library, a gym, various sports grounds, and a lake. HEC hosts an international MBA sports tournament where business schools across Europe come to participate. There is a small medical room with basic services and a couple of doctors but it's not nearly enough. They also have a couple of psychologists that you can get counseling from, which is great.
    • Indian Festivals like Holi and Diwali are celebrated prominently by clubs along with Christmas, Chinese new year etc. There are professional clubs for almost all sectors.

    Fees

    • Tuition: 76,000 Euros
    • Hostel: ~7200 Euros but this will depend on the room you choose, the size of the room and if the rent changes during the year.
    • Tuition is charged in 3 installments; you can ask for a bit of delay if you need more time and that will be allowed. Hostel rent is paid monthly but again, you can ask for some time if you need it.
    • Monthly expenses would be around 900~1000 euros. HEC has shuttles to Paris but if you want to go at a time when there is no shuttle or want to go places not covered, then you'll have to pay for it. You can get various types of Navigo passes and use those on buses, trams and metros.

    • Library is the key heart of every college and Arizona has the largest library in the state, where you can find good knowledge and help for research purposes also. Then, we are talking about sports, then the Arizona wildcards congress into the picture for the Super Bowl; you must support them. They have a tiger as a mascot.

    • The University of Arizona has two main campuses in Arizona. The primary campus is in Tucson, where most of the degree programs, including mine, are offered here. The second Campus is in Phoenix and is primarily focused on nursing and health-related programs. The Tucson Campus is well equipped with facilities such as a large library recreational center sports complex and medical services.
    • The academic advisors are approachable and genuinely helpful – I have had multiple interactions with mine, and they have always been supportive and quick to resolve. Any questions I had.
    • While I haven't actively participated in clubs or Campus fest, I did attend the Tucson festival of books (TFOB), one of the largest and most popular, well-organised events here. It's a major literacy festival that brings together authors, publishers, and book lovers from across the United States. Atmosphere was inspiring, with insightful panels, discussions, books, singing, and a strong sense of community around reading and storytelling.
    • Although I haven't engaged much in extracurricular activities yet, the campus offers a wide variety of options, including student clubs, pet classes, culture groups, and professional organisations for those interested.

    • A lot of events and fairs happen throughout the semester; it is great for networking and having fun while you're studying. We can borrow laptops, books, or any gadgets from the library for the whole semester, so we don't have to worry.
    • There are many campus tours that happen at the beginning of the semester.

    • There is only one University of Arizona campus in Tucson. UofA has the best and most promising facilities; it has huge 3 libraries within the campus and one of them is open 24/7. The main library has a lot of advanced and updated tech like laptops, extension monitors, cameras, etc. that we can borrow and renew every month.
    • The libraries have private study rooms, labs, group study rooms, conference rooms, and quiet zones.
    • UofA is also popular for it's football team and the football games. It also has an on-campus hospital and also free basic medications available at campus health.

    Fees

    • So as a full-time international graduate student, we are supposed to take 3 or more credits each semester and the tuition and fee are based on the credits taken. For my previous semester, the total tuition and fee was $18,300, out of which $59.00 is the Arizona Financial Aid Trust Fee, the International Student Fee is $200, tuition for 3 credits is $13,311, and the miscellaneous fee (library & tech) is almost $5000. Monthly expenses: rent: $500-$550/month (varies based on utilities), and other expenses will be around $70-$100/month based on personal expenses.

    Overview

My Data Science course is ranked 9th by Forbes so I chose this university. Also, the living expenses are minimal here. Moreover, there are many facilities provided by the university like cat tran, safe ride, campus pantry, etc. There are many on-campus opportunities too. The faculty is also good.

The college has only one campus in Tucson. Library, huge stadium, fests, clubs, global parties, Bash events, and Recreation centers are extracurricular. Not only this there are several free workshops going on in the library about 3D printing, Sewing, AR-VR gaming, Hackathon, etc. There are many communities too for each department. There are many football matches and basketball matches held in the stadium. The stadium is very huge. People come here to see all over the country.

Ques. What is it like to study for an MBA at University of Arizona for an Indian student? Is the college well known to potential employers throughout the USA?

    ● Top Answer By Mukesh Singh on 17 Feb 24

Ans. As a former MBA grad from the University of Arizona's Eller College of Management, and an Indian student myself, let me spill the chai on what it's like: First off, the UArizona MBA program is a unique blend of academic rigor and real-world exposure. The coursework is challenging, pushing you to think critically and apply theoretical concepts to practical scenarios. But fret not, the collaborative spirit is strong. My cohort is a diverse mix of nationalities, backgrounds, and experiences, and we're always there to support and challenge each other. Professors are approachable and encourage open discussions, making the learning process interactive and engaging. Being an Indian student, I was initially worried about fitting in. But the UArizona community is incredibly welcoming. The Indian Students' Association (ISA) is a vibrant hub where I've made close friends and celebrated cultural events like Diwali. The university also has a dedicated Office of International Students and Scholars, offering support and resources to navigate the visa process, cultural adjustments, and academic life. Career-wise, the Eller College of Management, where the MBA program resides, boasts strong connections to Arizona's booming business scene. From Fortune 500 companies like Raytheon and Honeywell to innovative startups, there are ample opportunities for internships, networking events, and career fairs. Whether you dream of climbing the corporate ladder or spicing things up with your own venture, UArizona equips you with the skills and network to make it happen. Now, about the million-dollar question: is UArizona well-known across the USA? The Eller College of Management is consistently ranked among the top 50 business schools in the nation. While it might not have the Ivy League clout, its reputation is solid, especially in the Western and Southwestern regions. However, name recognition might not translate to a guaranteed job offer. Ultimately, your individual skills, network, and work ethic will play a bigger role in impressing potential employers, regardless of their familiarity with UArizona. Final Verdict!!!  So, is an MBA at UArizona worth it for an Indian student? Absolutely! The program offers a challenging academic experience, a diverse and supportive community, and strong career connections. While the national brand recognition might not be the hottest curry on the menu, the overall value proposition is definitely worth considering. Just remember, your success hinges on your own hustle and spice!Read more

Ques. What are my chances of getting accepted into Arizona state university?

    ● Top Answer By Mansi Arora on 17 Feb 24

Ans. Arizona State University boasts an acceptance rate of 89.8%, making it a lightly selective school. This means most applicants get accepted, but that doesn't guarantee smooth sailing. Remember, competitiveness can vary depending on your chosen program and residency status. Meeting the minimum requirements is crucial. ASU seeks applicants with a 3.0 GPA in core courses and either a 22 ACT (24 for non-residents) or 1120 SAT (1180 for non-residents). However, aiming higher is always wise. Competitive applicants often boast GPAs above 3.5 and test scores exceeding the mid-range (1200-1300 SAT, 26-30 ACT). While grades and test scores are important, they're just one piece of the puzzle. ASU values a holistic approach, considering your extracurricular involvement, essays, letters of recommendation, and demonstrated interest in the university. Show them your passion, leadership potential, and unique contributions! ASU loves well-rounded individuals. Did you captain the debate team, volunteer at a local animal shelter, or code a groundbreaking app? Showcase your diverse talents and commitment beyond academics. Leadership positions, community service, and unique achievements can set you apart. With dedication and a well-rounded application, your chances of joining the Sun Devil family are bright! While I can't predict the future, understanding the factors at play and putting your best foot forward will significantly increase your odds. So, channel your inner Sun Devil spirit, showcase your strengths, and remember – believe in yourself! Bonus Tip: Check out ASU's "My Chances Calculator" for a more personalized assessment based on your specific stats.Read more

Ques. How is the University of Arizona for a master’s in engineering management?

    ● Top Answer By Nihal Joshi on 17 Feb 24

Ans. As a recent graduate of the University of Arizona's Master of Science in Engineering Management program, I'm here to share my two cents on whether it's the right fit for you. Buckle up, engineering nerds! The Good: Strong technical foundation:  The program blends core engineering principles with management essentials, giving you a well-rounded skillset. Professors are industry veterans, bringing real-world experience to the classroom. Flexibility:  Choose your path! Opt for the traditional coursework route or dive into a project-based option, tackling a real-world engineering challenge with industry partners. Global mindset:  Prepare to lead diverse teams. The program emphasizes intercultural communication and ethical considerations, equipping you for today's globalized landscape. Career connections:  The UArizona alumni network is vast and active, providing valuable mentorship and potential job opportunities. Plus, career fairs and workshops connect you with industry leaders. Desert vibes (bonus!):  Tucson offers a vibrant community, stunning natural beauty, and sunshine galore. Perfect for unwinding after those intense problem-solving sessions. The Not-So-Good: Competition:  This program is  intensive . Be prepared to hustle. The program attracts ambitious engineers, so expect a competitive environment. Teamwork and networking are key to standing out. Cost:  Let's be honest, grad school ain't cheap. While UArizona's MEM is competitively priced, tuition and living expenses can add up. Be sure to factor in scholarships, grants, and other financial aid options. Location:  Tucson offers a unique blend of desert beauty and cultural vibrancy, but it might not be everyone's cup of tea. Consider if you thrive in a smaller city with a distinct character. The University of Arizona's MS in Engineering Management is a solid program for engineers seeking to transition into leadership roles. The curriculum is rigorous, the faculty is top-notch, and the career support is valuable. But remember, it's an investment, so carefully evaluate your goals and weigh the pros and cons before diving in.Read more

The University of Arizona doesn't offer scholarships that fully cover all costs associated with attending the university (tuition, fees, room and board, books, etc.) for all students. However, they do offer a variety of merit-based and need-based scholarships that can significantly reduce the cost of attendance. For more information, you can check The University of Arizona Scholarships.
