Overview
I did not have any. I applied to uw not from abroad but from the USA since I live here! Nope. UW didnt require us to have any interviews- we just used the common application to apply to University of Washington and you got responses in March. Its close by- so I can drive to UW and come back and save money on staying on campus. Since I'm on the pre med track. uw is a great school for that and has its own med school I hope to attend! I have heard that a lot of students use this app called Handshake to get jobs and o have heard its useful. I know some family who graduated from uw and got a job at SPACEX Overall its quite an experience! Its difficult but you have to expect it to be that way. Uw is a top school for stem!
Fees
Its roughly 5k each quarter (+textbook fees) so about 15k not including summer. This is in USD btw!

- I believe the program they have here is very good and complete. They invest a lot of resources, time and effort in research which gives students a lot of options depending on their field. As a university they feel like they care. I also chose because of the location, it’s a city that has become a high tech center and gives many opportunities, as well as the beautify and variety of nature and cultures. null
Overview
It has been an amazing experience, filled with support systems that help me accommodate academically as well as culturally and personally.
Fees
Total per quarter comes up a bit higher than 12k USD. This includes tuition itself, services and tech fees and u pass which gives you access to all public transportation.
Overview
The first thing I thought about when choosing a college was its marching band. In high school, I was a member of a core-style marching band. Every year we would spend weeks before school started at band camp to pour our efforts into a unique performance. We competed with other high schools and had tons of fun. Marching band was the highlight of my high school career, and I knew I had to keep being involved. The UW stood out to me for this reason. On top of its great location and academic prowess, it has one of the most entertaining college bands in the country. I applied for 3 other schools in Washington, but I knew this was my first choice. Luckily, my high school prepared me well for the application process and I was not worried. With a 3.8 GPA and AP test scores, I was sure to be accepted. Getting into the UW was exciting because I knew I would continue to pursue my musical interests as well as my academic ones.
Fees
There are scholarships available for many students on campus. The international student center probably has a lot of that information. There are many scholarships for minorities and other groups. Tuition fees increase every year but financial aid is available. I was awarded a scholarship through my major by the art history department. A great way to get scholarships is to use your good academics. That way you can apply with the work you have already done till this point.
Overview
It is a very highly respected college. My parents always wanted me to go to this college, and it is close to home. People who go to this college are able to obtain employment easily because they tend to be highly educated.
Fees
Books are around $825. Room and board run around $11,000. Tuition and fees are about $10,000 for in-state. Other expenses for me were around $3000.
Overview
Because I got in. Originally, I had planned to transfer to Western Washington University. However, after a campus visit to UW, I was in love (like many) with the campus and decided I at least wanted to apply. After hearing back, I decided I wanted to give it a shot.
Fees
Tuition is the biggest fee. There is also a quarterly fee for a quarterly bus pass. The next largest expense is off-campus housing.
