University of Oregon’s main campus, adjacent to West University, comprises over 80 academic, administrative and residential buildings. The Erb Memorial Union is the heart of the single campus, a place to study, eat and come together as a community. It hosts various cultural events and other activities making the UO campus attractive and vibrant.

UO is home to a total of 8 libraries that provide a variety of resources for individual and collaborative research, study, and instruction. UO hosts more than 250 student organizations on campus. With 10 residence halls, the University of Oregon provides a pleasant environment for students to enjoy and make the most out of their on-campus experience. The majority of the residence halls include double rooms, but there are also triple, singles, and suite-style rooms available.

The nine dining locations on campus offer nutritious and delicious meal plans that are made using ingredients from 25 local farms. University of Oregon offers several financial aids in the form of grants, loans, scholarships, etc. Each year UO awards more than USD 2.5 million in financial aid and scholarships for international students. The international work-study program offers more than 50 work-study awards ranging from USD 1,000- USD 4,500 per year to eligible students. Overview

Cost, closeness to home, and science opportunities. They offered the most scholarships and the college is known for producing STEM majors with high success rates. I am also from the Portland area and wasn't looking to travel too far away from home.
