University of Oregon’s main campus, adjacent to West University, comprises over 80 academic, administrative and residential buildings. Overview
Cost, closeness to home, and science opportunities. They offered the most scholarships and the college is known for producing STEM majors with high success rates. I am also from the Portland area and wasn't looking to travel too far away from home.
