I did not have any. I applied to uw not from abroad but from the USA since I live here! Nope. UW didnt require us to have any interviews- we just used the common application to apply to University of Washington and you got responses in March. Its close by- so I can drive to UW and come back and save money on staying on campus. Since I'm on the pre med track. uw is a great school for that and has its own med school I hope to attend! I have heard that a lot of students use this app called Handshake to get jobs and o have heard its useful. I know some family who graduated from uw and got a job at SPACEX Overall its quite an experience! Its difficult but you have to expect it to be that way. Uw is a top school for stem!
Course Curriculum
I think its quite tough! I really wasnt expecting stem courses to be that difficult. When you compare university level to community College their is a huge difference in how "easy" it is to get a 4.0! Im planning to do some shadowing and research in pre med and reach out to some doctors to shadow!
Exams
I only took the SAT i got like a 800 but UW doesnt look at SAT. I have not taken any other standardized tests besides that
Internship
No I have not opted for any internships. I think I will consider them next year!
Fees
Its roughly 5k each quarter (+textbook fees) so about 15k not including summer. This is in USD btw!
Scholarship
I did receive 1500$ one time for my studies and I had to write down an essay and talk about my community service I have done.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is a big difference. Theirs about like idk 40k ish student i think at uw and probably 4-5k staff but our lecture sizes are lile 200-700 so this isnt super shocking to me- its a HUGE campus. I have had one professor at UW terry swanson- i took ESS 101 with him and he is an incredible instructor and absolutely passionate about what he teaches!
Campus Life
Campus life is okay tbh! Wifi is accessible all over campus and theirs a lot of clubs. I currently commute so i am not currently a part of anything or know the student life as much as those who live on campus.
Hostel
Since I dont live on campus I cant say a lot. But from what my friends have told me its quite nice and its a good experience to live ok your own so you know how to be independent. I have heard the food isnt super great.
