Here’s what students say about their experience at the Seattle University:
Yash from 2024 batch says “The location is great if you're looking for job opportunities in tech. The campus is clean, spacious, and open to the public. The library has private study rooms, and the faculty is generally helpful. I also like that we have a lot of elective options to choose from. But the trimester system gets hectic, and job fairs aren’t that useful—they mostly just tell you to apply online. Some professors make subjects way harder than they need to be. Also, there are public roads cutting through the campus, which can be a bit annoying.”
Course: M.S Computer Science
Samarth Singh Tanwar from 2024 batch says “Seattle University is in Capitol Hill, which is a lively area with lots of things to do. The courses are well-structured, and we have a good mix of core and elective options. Professors are approachable, and class sizes are small, which helps a lot. There are many events throughout the year, both academic and social. But the tuition is expensive, and dealing with the administration can be frustrating because they take forever to respond. The class schedules are sometimes weirdly structured, and there aren’t many on-campus job opportunities. Also, most students here are from India, so diversity isn’t great.”
Course: M.S Computer Science
