Overview
It’s ranking and opportunities, as well as affordability and location I would say academically I haven’t done as well as I’ve hoped, but my GPA and grades are still decent. The social scene is an 8.5/10, as I’ve made lots of friends and have good involvement outside of class.
Fees
I would say in total tuition alone would be about $26K
Overview
The University of Florida is a good example of an educational hub. It has a nice weather and a good city atmosphere.
Fees
Approximately 12000 USD per semester. But it is covered if you get TA/RA assistantship

- Lets start with the cost of tution. It is one of the most budget college you will ever get in US. The cost of living is also very cheap if you opt for off campus housing. They have really good sports complexes to play and and many communities like chess etc. You can opt for any services for free like Yoga, Dance, or any other instructor based service. null
- As mentioned before it is cost effective, weather is good, and the ranking is top 50 in CS. null
Dislikes:
- Its a common issue among all the colleges and universities in the USA, that there is no placement cell as we find in Indian colleges, hence students have to grind for jobs on their own. Apart from that there is not much to dislike about. null
Overview
Its a good experience as long as you take benefit of the services offered to you as a student. If you are paying such hefty amount make sure you extract every dollar out of it by honestly studying and making the best out of it.
Fees
1255$ * 30 credits - 4500$ scholarship. (rate per credit changes every year).

- "As I took a step forward in my career trajectory, I was passionate about VLSI. Through my course curriculum, online certifications, and practical experiences, I have learned that digital VLSI design is my future. I wanted to undertook research in this area and contribute to the sphere of innovation. However, to have my aspirations take flight, my existing knowledge needed a boost. For the same, I found a masters program in computer engineering to be aligning ideally with my interests. Housed by the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of University of Florida, this program focuses on the design, analysis, and application of computers and their components. Amalgamating theory and practice, this program offers a comprehensive understanding of VLSI design, which proved to be instrumental in paving a sound career path . Having gone through the university profile, I wished to pursue my interest on VLSI design which aligns well with the goal of the master’s program. I was certain that attaining learning under such a stellar faculty will not to be insightful but will also prepare me for my future endeavors." .

- There are few things which i personally did not like about this university. Firstly, It is the location where the university is situated i.e gainesville area. There is not much to do here in gainesville apart from the university area so sometimes it becomes monotonous to be there. Also, the food, specially the indian cuisine is a bit expensive there as compared to other states. Secondly, the weather conditions are extreme mainly during summer its unbearable. Thirdly, i did not like the grading system at UF. null
Overview
My overall experience at UF was good. It was a great opportunity to pursue my master's program abroad as it not only helped me in gaining academics knowledge but also to understand and interact with people from different places and background.
Fees
total tuition fee including living expense is 45000$(USD)
Overview
I was quite sure about the features I wanted in the program I wanted to apply for. The University of Florida piqued my interest because it had excellent research work being conducted in the field I was most interested in. It is of course a prestigious university while still being economic. It has very good connections with NASA as well which provides exceptional work and internship opportunities to students.
Fees
The tuition fees actually vary as per the student's scholarship and stipend details. However, if there is absolutely no scholarship, the tuition fees would be around $11025 per semester, considering 9 credit hours.
Overview
Low tuition among universities with the same level of research and high reputation. I wanted to get into this university for more exposure and better facilities.
Fees
$30138 is the program fee.
Overview
It is the best college in my state for the program that I am getting my degree in. I have always wanted to go to UF and decided at a very early age that it would be my first pick school. I also knew there wouldn't be a chance I could go out of state.
Fees
We are charged per credit hour. There are also lab fees associated with certain classes.
Overview
The distance to home was rather close, and I was still able to use my Bright Futures Scholarship money, as well as gain a local scholarship to the University! In addition, my close friend was planning on attending this college, so it helped finalize my decision.
Fees
The fees are broken down by tuition, housing, and food/transportation/miscellaneous. Tuition is $212.71 per credit hour, and housing on-campus is dependent upon the style you get and the location in proximity to campus. Some places are more expensive if you have your own suite/bedroom or whether you share a bathroom with a roommate or the whole floor. It's roughly $550- $900 for housing I would say, mine was roughly in the middle. Food was cheap for me because I didn't eat a whole lot, so I also didn't get the meal plan since it was almost just as expensive as tuition. As for transportation, I had my own car and only had to get gas maybe once a month because everything is so close, and you can also walk or take the bus system for free. Miscellaneous is dependent upon your phone/electronic usage, hobbies, etc. Personally, I had a very cheap first-year, as I am an avid saver, not a spender.
Overview
My college has an amazing Health Science program, and from here it is possible to move into the University of Florida Medical School without changing towns again! Gainesville is also less metropolitan than most other Florida universities do which was appealing to me.
Fees
At the beginning of the semester, tuition charges appear in your account and students typically have several weeks to pay after classes have begun. The only other charges I have incurred are for laser printing from our on-campus printing labs.
Overview
The pharmacy school is one of the best in the country and matches a lot of their students for residency programs. It is also where my mom went to undergrad. The college is also in a great location and I love the town.
Fees
I am an out of state student so I pay more for tuition. I also have to pay for school fees. There are no textbooks however to buy.
