I was given lots of research experiences with a rigorous workload, including honors courses.

My overall experience is overwhelmingly positive. I met a lot of incredibly nice people and my program's research is cutting-edge. My PI's were all very nice and I like being able to be hands-on. I have joined the MCBC and gaming club. My dorm is extremely clean. I chose this college because of the research opportunities and great program/connections/networking.

Dislikes:

  • The weather here in Tucson can get a little hot, which might be a problem for some but otherwise the university of arizona is a great place to be. Some changes in culture might be hard for a foreign grad student to adopt to but otherwise they make sure you feel at home. null

Dislikes:

  • Some advanced learners might find that the material lacks the depth they desire. Striking a balance between accessibility and challenging content could be a consideration. If you aim to learn the basics to understand what interests you the most and what is just a fun knowledge to know about this coursework would provide much more clarity to those people. null
  • For students who are seeking an extremely rigorous and highly competitive academic environment, the emphasis on making concepts easily understandable and tests enjoyable could be perceived as lacking in challenge. They might be looking for a program that pushes them to their limits academically. null

The course curriculum can be challenging depending on the subject. But I think that's good due to when you leave college, the job market you'll be competing in will be full of obstacles so if you can be successful in challenging courses, you'll experience the same result in your career.

Fees

A lot of our mandatory fees are for clubs around campus and athletics. While I personally believe students should have a say in where they want their money to go, it's nice that the university tries to support different organizations.

It's very driven. The CHS offers a lot of opportunities for the students. We have events and are highly supported by the university. Some programs are costly and it would be nice if there were more scholarships.

Fees

Fees include technology, and online inclusive access course. There are also fees for any labs and specialty courses. There are fees regarding any extra credit opportunities such as films pertaining to the subject. There are also scholarship fees

I think it is a very strong course curriculum. The classes all challenge me and have a good variety of learning styles. I take two online classes and two in-person classes and all of them are going well.

Fees

The fees were broke down into regular tuition, then room and board, then books and other service charges. Another system they use is called bursars and is through the bookstore and is a way for us to use our student cat card and to buy anything and it is directly charged to our tuition account.
