- The Campus is very big and the infrastructure is really amazing.
- The professors are very experienced and friendly with the students.
- The campus has police officers almost for every mile and every student feels very secured.
Dislikes
- Since, the campus is very long it takes a lot of time to walk from one building to another.
- The cold weather and snow makes us vulnerable to walk on campus.
- The crimes and gun shooting is a concern which takes place at least once or twice in a month.
Campus Life
- My College has 3-4 campuses here in Cincinnati. One is in Clermont, other one is in blueAsh and other is in west Cincinnati.
- All the campuses provide a library and very big sports stadium like Basketball indoor stadium where inter-university matches are played.
- They have medical services covered through University health services.
- They have popular and regular events for international students. Sports are very regularly held at our very famous Nippert Stadium.
Fees
- The Fees structure was around 30 lakhs in INR. It would be around 26k to 27k USD. In the I20, it is mentioned to carry around 50 lakhs in INR. But the fees including the health insurance issued by the university would charge around 27k USD for the student, the student can also bag a part time on campus for his monthly expenses.
- I had a scholarship of 6240 USD for my first year of the course. This scholarship is split between the two semesters of the first year in my university.

Likes
- Good international atmosphere (a lot of Indian students)
- Comfortable crowd (People are really nice)
- Co-op program is unique and really good if you come here for undergrad
Dislikes
- Ohio weather can be difficult to adjust to for some people. ( Winters are really really cold )
- Housing - limited options around the campus and the ones that exist are quite expensive
- Safety - not the most dangerous area around campus but also not the safest
Campus Life
- There are many campuses. The list and locations are available on the internet and UC website.
- All facilities are available. Library, Hospital, Soccer stadium, Football stadium, Tennis courts, indoor/outdoor basketball arenas.
- More than 100 campus festivals happen, 867 student clubs.
- Indian student association, alongside numerous other student orgs exist and are active on campus. There is an event every week.
Fees
- Fees is around $11k per semester but most students get a scholarship reducing it to $3k per semester. Monthly expenses can easily be between 1000-1500 primarily because a private room in a 2bhk costs around $800 in a decent location/building.
- Food/drinks/groceries can be $200-300. Transportation is free around campus using university shuttle service. But anywhere else is $10 minimum via cab. Bus network isn't the best.

Likes
- Curriculum of the program
- Opportunity to meet people from various countries
- Campus Infrastructure
Dislikes
- Accommodation
- Financial Aid
- Large in count of students for few subjects
Campus Life
- Teaching assistant, research assistant, departmental assistant, jobs in libraries, food service and administrative offices—these are some of the available part-time jobs on campus. An estimate of 10-15% of students get selected for the above-mentioned position. These positions offer a salary of $12-$20 per hour.
- A few other on-campus job options are food service, residence halls, IT support, etc. These jobs pay less compared to TA/RA or DA; the pay is approx. $10-$15 per hour.
- Students can work up to 20 hours per week during the semester and 40 hours per week during breaks.
- There is a very tough competition for on-campus jobs like TA/RA/DA, library assistant, IT support, etc. Students earn between $10 and $20 on a per-hour basis.
- The demand for on-campus jobs is high since they offer flexible schedules and convenience.
- In order to secure an on-campus job, it is suggested to get help from seniors, apply through an online portal, i.e., Handshake and get a recommendation from faculties.
- Non-academic on-campus jobs are relatively easy to get and their wage varies on factors like skill, age and experience.
Fees
- Since the last two years, the US job market condition is not so good. These days it is quite difficult to secure full-time job. I have seen students who got job after 1 year also. Overall I can say that about 40-50% of students would get full-time within 6 months of graduation.
- The average salary range is 110k-170k for students graduating from my program .It varies from company to company, job role , salaries ranges are different for Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Data Engineer and students experience also.
- Students usually find jobs after graduation through LinkedIn. Reaching out to recruiters, making connections, applying on company portal.

Likes
- There are a lot of student organization clubs/ groups and so some or the other event is happening on campus every now and then. For eg. The Indian Student Association (ISA) hosts a lot of Indian festival events which don't make you feel as if you’re missing out.
- The campus is extremely beautiful and lively. It’s not too big nor too small and hence its easy to navigate and commute from one class to another.
- I love the faculty here (for the most part). If you take a professor that has a good rating before enrolling into classes it is very beneficial. They are super helpful and adjusting with regards to syllabus, exams, and leaves. They are also super helpful if you struggle with something in class.
Dislikes
- The weather at Cincinnati is very unpredictable. It can literally be sunny one day and rain heavily on the other and so you always have to check the weather before stepping out.
- Apart from the things that happen around campus, there isn’t a lot to do in Cincinnati. It has some very good restaurants and few other things that might interest you but they surely get over visited and eventually it doesn’t seem like there’s much to do.
- Since Cincinnati is an old city, most of the off-campus housing that is affordable is very old houses and the newer ones are comparatively at the higher end.
Campus Life
- There are lots of events and fests that happen round the year. For Indian festivals there is Diwali, Garba, Holi etc. and fun fundraising events that serve exotic Indian dishes like pani puri, samosa, chai, etc.
- There are also organizations like PAC that host fun events for students like roller skating, tye-dye t-shirt making, valentine card making etc. There really is something that interests all of us.
- There are a lot of clubs, both academic and sports, for eg, ECON club, SWIM and DIVE club etc. There are also a bunch of extracurricular activities like movie nights, interactive sessions, game nights, where you can meet and bond with new people.
Fees
- The University of Cincinnati (UC) offers a variety of programs, and the fees structure can vary based on the program, residency status (in-state, out-of-state, or international), and other factors. Here’s a general breakdown of what you can expect:
- Tuition:
Undergraduate:
