Colleges Where I Was Accepted

Reason for choosing my college

  • This college provides me with very well structured courses related to my interests and I am also mostly impressed with the great lab facilities. One of my professors is very communicative and interactive. This college is very close to many companies also.

Colleges Where I Was Rejected

Reason for Rejection

  • I am not more researched about these colleges but I only applied, which aligns with my interests and my technology. Moreover, I didn't find any courses related to cybersecurity in the above colleges. This reason makes me not apply.

Tips to enhance your application

  • Be truthful with every document and upload each and every document carefully. Don't write much in Sop; be short and sweet, like why this college and what made you to choose. Try to get an IELT score for a scholarship.

Admission Experience

  • USA having the most reputed companies and colleges. I chose the University of Cincinnati due to my alignment of course interests in cyber security. I am more than impressed with great career opportunities and I like all the activities present; mostly, I loved the campus environment and outdoor games and food stalls in Thanksgiving.

Class Schedule

6

  • Mostly I took 5 subjects in each semester and most are online. Like it will be as 3 online, 2 offline. Per each 3 credit and total 30 credits for whole masters. Assignments are not so easy; I would say better you can do them. Basically, you should have had an idea about those subjects earlier; if not, you can see documents in subjects to go through.

Faculty

7

  • Faculties to student ratio is 7:1 And I faculty is very good interactive. Best faculties are my cloud computing he used to say very natural and interactive more with people. I found my programming analyst and data encoding faculties give me part time in on campus as a teaching assistant. They are very good interactive.

Campus Life

7

  • I can see there are 3 campuses for my university; one is for engineering, LAw, and biomedical. These are very close to each other. There are many festivals conducted for each Indian festival, like Diwali, Garbha, and more. There are some clubs called SASA for Indian festivals. They are more jovial with people to attend every event.

Part Time Jobs

  • Mostly Indian students will work on campus in Starbucks, dining areas, and moreover, parking areas. Whenever an event occurs on campus, they usually ask to come whoever is interested; it is all communicated by email only. Most people get 20 hours per week and they can get 800 dollars per month, which is sufficient for monthly rent and expenses
  • There are many on-campus jobs. I feel very happy that I am the one who worked at Starbucks for a pay of $10 per hour. There are more parlours in the dining area, which gives more opportunities to people. They are giving to limited people who are genuine and good at work. They are allowing 20 hours per week. Which is happy for every student.

Placement

8

  • I usually say job opportunities depend on what knowledge you have and what level of skills you have. But besides that, you will get more opportunities through this college by applying in Handshake. Most of the average salary would be 80k per annum. The highest salary I can't predict purely depends on skills and knowledge.
